Georgian sterling silver mug by Peter and William Bateman, London, 1808; maker's mark overstruck by that of George Gray. The Batemans were one of the most famous families of English silversmiths in the 18th and early 19th centuries. This baluster form mug has a leaf capped double scroll handle and rests of a spreading circular foot. Full set of clear hallmarks below the rim to the side of the handle...

Pair of American coin silver open salts by Robert and William Wilson, working in Philadelphia, PA. Circa 1825. Each salt is decorated with a gadrooned rim and is supported by three hoof feet. Hammered interiors; each engraved with original owner's initials 'JCS' and stamped on the underside with the maker's mark R&W WILSON in a rectangle...

A pair of porcelain covered sauce tureens with under plates from a dessert service. Circa 1815-1820. These English porcelain tureens are richly decorated with gilt scrolls and hand painted summer flowers. They are unmarked, but are possibly either Spode or Coalport. Condition of the tureens is excellent, though there is considerable wear to the decoration on the under plates. No chips, cracks or restoration. Size: 8 inches length x 6.25 inches depth x 6 inches height...

Antique Federal era split column mirror looking glass, with original gold leaf and ebonized finish, and boasting an upper gilded relief panel of foliage in a basket. Early 19th century. Size: 31 inches ht. x 16 inches width.

Antique New York state Federal three-drawer work table or stand, in mahogany with curly maple drawer fronts and brass petal pulls. Circa 1820. Size: 29 inches high x 22 inches wide x 16 1/2 inches deep. The top drawer is fitted with a wooden writing surface and dividers for inkwells, and there is a lower shelf. Condition is very good.

An unusually small-sized Hepplewhite, Federal mahogany server with one-drawer and retaining its original brass knobs. C.1800-1815. Size: 29.25 inches length x 20 inches depth x 29.5 inches ht. Delicately tapered legs. Featuring a tiger maple applied decorative trim molding to top. Some stains and discoloration to top. See photos.

Clear hallmarks on base and with original assay office's silver testing scrape marks...

Georgian oak single door hanging corner cupboard. English. 18th century. Size: 43 inches ht. x 30.5 inches width x 13.5 inches depth. The door with a carved, raised panel and brass 'H' hinges. The interior arranged with four shelves.

Rare English Bilston type figural bonbonniere in the form of a seal's head, fashioned in painted enamels over copper. Circa 1760-1790. The cover is brass mounted and hand painted with two running hounds. The box is unmarked but was probably made at Bilston. Condition: some hairlines and with minor chipping and lines to the hinged cover; tiny blemish on animal's chin. Size: 1.5" length x 1.25" diameter. True period examples like this are scarce to the market.

An extremely fine George II silver taperstick by candlestick specialist John Cafe, London, 1742, cast in sterling silver. Size: 4.5 inches ht. No repairs or damage. Fully hallmarked on the under side of the base. Hallmarks are clear, apart from that of the maker which is only partially legible. 4 troy ounces total weight.

George III sterling silver sauceboat by famous English female silversmith Hester Bateman. London. 1783. Serrated rim with flying scroll handle and supported on three hoof feet. Engraved with a family crest of an arm dexter holding wheat. Size: 5 1/2 inches length x 3 1/2 inches ht. x 3 1/8 inches depth. Condition: one foot slightly bent. No repairs. Legible hallmarks on underside. 5.71 troy ounces.

An Early American Queen Anne tiger maple highboy of a rare, small size. Circa 1760. New Hampshire origin. Size: 39 inches wide x 62.5 inches high x 21.5 inches deep. This two-part highboy is fashioned from strongly figured tiger maple, with pine secondary woods. The flat top upper chest features a dovetailed cornice molding and two drawers over three graduated drawers; the base with three drawers and supported on cabriole legs with pad feet...

An early American 18th century country pine bench with back in a salmon painted finish. Size: 57 inches length x 14.5 inches depth x 32.5 inches height. Dovetailed joints. A great, decorative and hard to find country item.

Early American Chippendale tall chest, Pennsylvania origin. Circa 1760-1780. Size: 64 1/2 inches ht. x 45 3/8 inches wide x 23 1/2 inches deep. Figured walnut. This chest has three horizontally positioned top drawers above five finely graduated drawers, flanked with fluted quarter columns, and supported on ogee form bracket feet. Older replaced oval brass bail pulls. Excellent antique condition.

George III two-handled cup or porringer with repousse floral decoration, sterling silver, London, 1763, by silversmith William Cripps, engraved with owner's initials 'S*R' and date of '1764' in a cartouche. Legible hallmarks struck under base. Size: 6 1/4" across handles x 3 3/4" high x 3 5/8" diameter. Excellent condition with no repairs or erasures. Weight: 5.47 troy ounces

A rare Georgian silver mote spoon with narrow oval bowl intricately hand-pierced with scroll and cross motifs, attached with an elongated drop to a slender, long and tapered stem with diamond point terminal. Size: 6 1/8" length. Excellent condition with no wear to bowl, and with no breaks or repairs. Stamped at the bowl end of the stem with two indiscernible hallmarks (probably a lion passant standard mark and maker's stamp)...
