An extremely fine George II silver taperstick by candlestick specialist John Cafe, London, 1742, cast in sterling silver. Size: 4.5 inches ht. No repairs or damage. Fully hallmarked on the under side of the base. Hallmarks are clear, apart from that of the maker which is only partially legible. 4 troy ounces total weight.

An important table dinner bell by the renowned partnership of silversmiths Wakelin and Taylor, London, 1787. Turned ivory handle; the silver bell engraved with all-over decoration including motifs of foliate scrolls, birds, swags, and an armoured helm, together with a family crest. Antique Chippendale commode potty chest/chair. Mahogany and pine. An attractive diminutive sized chest which folds up into a chair with potty cut out seat. Though mainly of 18th century origin, this chest has experienced many alterations and repairs, including a 20th century plywood potty covering. Other portions of the interior shelving and base have been reworked, also in the 20th century. The brass bail front pulls are original, but the side carrying handles are later additions...

Rare English Bilston type figural bonbonniere in the form of a seal's head, fashioned in painted enamels over copper. Circa 1760-1790. The cover is brass mounted and hand painted with two running hounds. The box is unmarked but was probably made at Bilston. Condition: some hairlines and with minor chipping and lines to the hinged cover; tiny blemish on animal's chin. Size: 1.5" length x 1.25" diameter. True period examples like this are scarce to the market.

Antique early American Chippendale period tall chest in tiger maple with ten graduated drawers supported on an ogee bracket base. This beautiful chest features an unusual drawer configuration of three small drawers, over two side by side drawers, above five finely graduated drawers. Older replaced brasses. Size: 55.25 inches ht. x 38.25 inches wide x 19.5 inches deep. Circa 1780.

George I sterling silver Hanoverian table spoon with rat tail to reverse of bowl and having a pronounced midrib to upturned handle with engraved shaded block initials of the original owners, A over P*A, above a slightly later second set, M*B. London, 1720, by the silversmith Henry Miller I. Length: 7 5/8". Condition: Excellent, with no wear, dents or cracks to the elliptical bowl. Hallmarks are legible, though the maker's mark is somewhat closed from the reshaping of the stem after assaying...

George III sterling silver ink stand by Henry Chawner, London, 1795. The sterling boat-form stand holds three matching, faceted pots with sterling tops, including a sanding pot, inkwell, and pen holder. All pots bear identical hallmarks that match the full set of marks on the underside of the stand. Also incised with the engraved initials "D.A.D." and "No. 18" to underside of stand. Condition is very good, with only some minor chipping to the bases of two of the pots...

Old English tablespoon by England's most famous female silversmith, Hester Bateman. London. 1780. Original owner's engraved monogram in feathered script, 'JMA.' Very good condition with no repairs. Egg-shaped bowl retains its shape. Bottom marked with some compressing of hallmarks but still very legible. HB maker's mark is quite clear. 8 inch length.

Rare sterling silver spectacles in a green shagreen eye glasses case with silver mounts. Circa 1790-1800. The silver eyeglasses are unmarked, but are probably English, with folding frames. The shagreen (shark skin) case is in excellent condition with unmarked silver mounts and a working push-button catch. Size: 5 1/4" ht. x 2" width x 5/8" depth. Shagreen was made from the skin of the dogfish, a variety of shark, and was filed smooth and then applied like leather over a wooden case...

English George III rectangular tea caddy in satinwood veneer. Circa 1790. The front and lid are adorned with oval fan paterae inlaid with harewood and the edges have ebonized stringing. Lenticular bone keyhole escutcheon. The interior dividers have been removed and the box is lined with red velvet. Original hinges and lock. Condition: very good overall with some fine hairlines in the veneer and with two areas of minor damage to the ebonized stringing at the two front corners of the lid...

George III sterling silver sauceboat by famous English female silversmith Hester Bateman. London. 1783. Serrated rim with flying scroll handle and supported on three hoof feet. Engraved with a family crest of an arm dexter holding wheat. Size: 5 1/2 inches length x 3 1/2 inches ht. x 3 1/8 inches depth. Condition: one foot slightly bent. No repairs. Legible hallmarks on underside. 5.71 troy ounces.

An attractive New Hampshire Chippendale era tall chest with six finely graduated drawers, which retain their original brass bail handles and which exhibit an attractive molded edge to the drawer sides. Circa 1780-1800. Maple and birch case. Size: 39 5/8 inches overall width x 53 1/2 inches height x 18 1/4 inches depth. Early American coin silver beaker by Newburyport, Mass. silversmith William Moulton IV. Circa 1800. This cup bears an original presentation inscription, engraved in script, with the name Heber Little. Condition is very good with no repairs. There are a couple of minor dents, the most noticeable being situated near the base of the vessel & aligning with the right hand end and below the name 'Little.' English George III period sterling silver oval tea caddy, London, 1796, by John Crouch I and Thomas Hannam. Size: 4 inches high x 4 inches long x 2 1/2 inches deep. Excellent condition with no repairs or damage. Engraved on the front with a family crest. Fully hallmarked on the side and also on the lid with lion passant and maker's stamp. The wooden finial is carved and is secured to the cover with a sterling nut.

American Revolutionary War era military style wooden canteen. 19th century. Oak hand carved staves held together by four horizontal hand forged iron bands and two vertical bands; two iron rings and hand forged nails. A keg form canteen with two holes in the top; and with two iron carrying rings for a sling. Condition is very good; the upper most iron band is loose. Dimensions: 8" high x 8.5" wide x 5" deep.

18th century New England round tilt-top hutch/chair table. Pine. Size: 46 inches diameter x 28 inches ht. Shoe feet, scrolled arms, sliding seat storage compartment in base. Top may be pegged closed as a table or hinged to an upright position in order to save space and used as a chair. The seat in the base slides out to reveal storage beneath. Condition: refinished but with an attractive mellow surface with old patch repair to top (see photos). Nice overhang allows for plenty of leg room.

British/American Light Dragoon flintlock pistol, of a type used in the American Revolutionary War. Circa 1770s-1780s. Original patina. Overall length: 10.75 inches. Unconverted flintlock mechanism, and retaining the ramrod.
