English George III rectangular tea caddy in satinwood veneer. Circa 1790. The front and lid are adorned with oval fan paterae inlaid with harewood and the edges have ebonized stringing. Lenticular bone keyhole escutcheon. The interior dividers have been removed and the box is lined with red velvet. Original hinges and lock. Condition: very good overall with some fine hairlines in the veneer and with two areas of minor damage to the ebonized stringing at the two front corners of the lid...

Chinese export porcelain plates decorated for the English market. Qianlong period. 18th century. The wavy edged rim is bordered with garlands of summer flowers, surrounding a central reserve with a hand-painted floral bouquet, all trimmed with fine bands of gilding. George III sterling silver ink stand by Henry Chawner, London, 1795. The sterling boat-form stand holds three matching, faceted pots with sterling tops, including a sanding pot, inkwell, and pen holder. All pots bear identical hallmarks that match the full set of marks on the underside of the stand. Also incised with the engraved initials "D.A.D." and "No. 18" to underside of stand. Condition is very good, with only some minor chipping to the bases of two of the pots...

Old English tablespoon by England's most famous female silversmith, Hester Bateman. London. 1780. Original owner's engraved monogram in feathered script, 'JMA.' Very good condition with no repairs. Egg-shaped bowl retains its shape. Bottom marked with some compressing of hallmarks but still very legible. HB maker's mark is quite clear. 8 inch length.

Scarce Irish silver bowl by silversmith Matthew West, Dublin, c.1780, sterling silver. A small bowl adorned with swirling bands of punch work decoration and supported on three hoof feet. Excellent antique condition. Hallmarked on the underside with the Irish harp, figure of Hibernia and maker's initials MW for Matthew West. Also engraved with the original owner's initials BR in block letters. Size: 5 inches in diameter x 2.5 inches high. Weight: 4.6 troy ounces.

Engraved with a family crest of an arm dexter holding wheat. Size: 5 1/2 inches length x 3 1/2 inches ht. x 3 1/8 inches depth. Condition: one foot slightly bent. No repairs. Legible hallmarks on underside. 5.71 troy ounces.

American Revolutionary War era military style wooden canteen. 19th century. Oak hand carved staves held together by four horizontal hand forged iron bands and two vertical bands; two iron rings and hand forged nails. A keg form canteen with two holes in the top; and with two iron carrying rings for a sling. Condition is very good; the upper most iron band is loose. Dimensions: 8" high x 8.5" wide x 5" deep.

A pair of Georgian silver table spoons by Hester Bateman, the famous female smith who has been called the "Queen of English Silversmiths." London, 1776-1777. Length: 8.25 inches. These are in the Old English pattern with down turned handles engraved with their original family crest of a rising eagle with wings inverted on a mural coronet. These spoons are in excellent condition with no dings, repairs, cracks or wear to the bowls...

18th century New England round tilt-top hutch/chair table. Pine. Size: 46 inches diameter x 28 inches ht. Shoe feet, scrolled arms, sliding seat storage compartment in base. Top may be pegged closed as a table or hinged to an upright position in order to save space and used as a chair. The seat in the base slides out to reveal storage beneath. Condition: refinished but with an attractive mellow surface with old patch repair to top (see photos). Nice overhang allows for plenty of leg room.

A rare George III sterling silver set of caddies: including a pair of tea caddies and a larger matching sugar caddy. London, 1771, by the silversmith William Vincent, who specialized in wares for the tea table, especially tea caddies. Each is of a rectangular form with serpentine shaped sides, decorated with a repousse floral design, and with acanthus capped feet and floral finials, and each bears an engraved family crest of a dove holding an olive branch in its beak...

William III silver trefid table spoon, London, c.1700, by Francis Archbold. Length - 7.25 inches. Weight - 1.38 troy ounces. A typical trefid form table spoon with broad, shallow bowl and a double ribbed and beaded rat tail. The upturned handle's terminal is cut with two notches, a characteristic of the trefid form. Hallmarks are very worn, but the maker's mark of Francis Archbold is just discernible, together with the lion's head erased stamp that denotes the London assay office, which was...
