A small oil on board depicting an antiques auction by the Woodstock, VT artist Arthur B. Wilder (American, 1857-1949). Circa 1930-40s. Size: 8" x 10". Unsigned, but bearing on the reverse the Arthur Wilder estate's stamp and with provenance from the artist's granddaughter. Local auctions were held in the vicinity of River Street in Woodstock during the 1930s-1940s. Murray Fraser is most probably the auctioneer. A New England Queen Anne highboy, circa 1750, in cherry, being a marriage of a period base with a period top. The proportions and color of the two components mesh very nicely, though the secondary woods differ, white pine versus chestnut. Found in a New Hampshire home. Refinished and with replaced brasses, otherwise in fine condition, without further restoration. Dimensions: 77 3/8" height x 38 1/2" width x 19 1/4" depth.

A cased pair of repousse decorated napkin rings fashioned in sterling silver by the famous late 19th century manufacturer, Henry Holland, London, 1899-1900. This pair of napkin rings are of heavy weight and are decorated all over with crisp repousse work of scrolling foliage, and each is engraved with the original owner's initials in a circular cartouche, 'JHP' and 'JP'...

A scarce Arts & Crafts style silver serving spoon by Richard Blanchard, hand wrought in sterling. Circa 1910-1920. A matching pair of Shaker #3 rockers from the Mount Lebanon, NY community. 19th century. Each chair bears a '3' branded on the upper back slat, and one chair displays a Mt. Lebanon manufacturer's stamp on the third back slat. Excellent condition, retaining an old pecan colored finish and with woven beige and blue cloth tape seats. There is a minor split to one leg where it joins with the runner (but still structurally sound). Dimensions: 34" ht. x 19 3/8" width x 25" depth.

Mt. Lebanon Shaker Rocker No. 6 in an old finish. Taped back and seat. Branded '6' on reverse of top splat. Size: 23.5 inches wide x 41 inches high x 29 inches deep. Very nice condition.

Louis Comfort Tiffany art glass bowl of lobed and paneled form, decorated in an iridescent finish, and with grape and vine motifs engraved on the top border and on its bottom. Signed: L.C.T. Favrile. Size: 7 5/8" diameter x 3 1/4" height. Circa 1900-1915. Condition: some discoloration to the interior of the bowl's base; no chips or cracks.

Pierre-Auguste Renoir (French, 1841-1919), Le Chapeau Epingle ('The Pinned Hat'), drypoint etching, originally published in 1894. This version is a later posthumous restrike. Signed in the plate. The two girl models are known to have been Julie Manet, the daughter of Berthe Morisot and niece of Eduard Manet, and her cousin, Paulette Gobillard. Plate size: 4.5" x 3.25". A nice strong image, printed on light cream paper. Excellent condition...

Minton hand painted botanical dessert service, including eight 9" dessert plates and 1 dessert stand. Date code for 1869. Each plate has a cobalt border with rich gilding and a hand-painted central reserve depicting various species of flowers, butterflies, berries, and insects. The stand has the same matching border but no botanical scene. All of the plates bear an impressed Minton mark; the stand is unmarked...

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) - Yvette Guilbert. This colored lithograph is an original page from the weekly satirical newspaper "Le Rire", published in 1894. Toulouse-Lautrec produced 10 colored drawings for this humorous periodical over a period of three years, from 1894-1897. This illustration is of Yvette Guilbert, a music hall performer, who thrilled Parisian audiences with her audacious songs, curious smile and gestures with her long black gloves...

A pair of extraordinary sterling silver circular cake plates by Galt & Brother. Circa 1920. Size: 11 1/8" diameter x 1 1/4" height. Each plate is intricately pierced and decorated with cherubs and griffins, and is supported on a short foot ring. In the center is a script family monogram. Condition is excellent.

Continental standing cow creamer fashioned of 800 standard silver, with a German origin. Circa late 19th/early 20th century. The cow exhibits a pair of forward curling horns, has its tail curled on the top of its back, and displays a full udder. There is a hinged cover on its back for filling, and the cream pours through its mouth. Excellent condition and with wonderful detailing to the cow's features. The cow stands firmly, but has a very slight wobble. No repairs. Size: 5 3/8" length x 4"...

A fabulous repousse decorated sterling silver water pitcher by S. Kirk & Son Co., Baltimore. Circa 1900. This ewer is adorned all-over in an unusual repousse pattern with cat tails, ferns and roses. Excellent condition with no dents or repairs. Stamped under base "S.Kirk&SonCo. 925/1000 184". Size: 10 inches high x 8 inches across handle/spout. A superb example of Baltimore silver.
