This beautiful chest features an unusual drawer configuration of three small drawers, over two side by side drawers, above five finely graduated drawers. Older replaced brasses. Size: 55.25 inches ht. x 38.25 inches wide x 19.5 inches deep. Circa 1780.

Older replaced oval brass bail pulls. Excellent antique condition.

A very scare smoker's table/stand from the Black Forest region of Germany. Circa 1890-1900. Carved from Linden wood. The pedestal is in the form of a tree trunk supported on three branches, on which a large bear is climbing. This bear is realistically modeled, with glass eyes, and has a hinged head that reveals a cigar humidor inside. The upper section contains an arrangement of nine graduated drawers above a lower case with three drawers, which is supported on a bracket base. Condition: the top cornice is a later replacement as are the brass pulls. Some old chips and roughness to a few drawer edges. Old refinish. Not a marriage. Dimensions: 73 inches height x 40 1/2 inches width x 21 3/8 inches depth.
