Mexican 4-piece matching coffee service with sterling silver tray by Maciel. Circa 1950. Dimensions: 21 inches x 15 inches tray weighs 51.1 troy ozs./898 grams; coffee pot measures 9.5 inches ht. and weighs 28.8 troy ozs./898 grams; covered sugar bowl - 5.5 inches ht. and weighs 9.9 troy ozs./309 grams; creamer - 5.25 inches ht. and weighs 9.1 troy ozs./283 grams Total weight: 99.13 troy ounces/ 3,083 grams. Excellent condition with no monograms or dents or repairs. Minor bruising on sides of coffee pot, but does not detract from the beauty of this hand wrought service. The Maciel Silver Factory was located in Mexico City, from 1930-1970, and produced hollow-ware, flatware and jewelry.
