This ornate fireplace with mirror back was removed from a Victorian residence in Rutland, Vermont. Antique Syrian carved and inlaid folding chair. This chair is ornately inlaid with mother-of-pearl and intricately carved with an Arabic inscription. The chair folds for ease of transportation. Some pieces of inlay missing and with minor chips. Size: 40 inches ht. x 17.5 inches wide x 19 inches deep.
Hepplewhite period mahogany bow front chest with four graduated drawers, New England origin, c.1790-1800. Size: 40.75 inches wide x 22.25 inches deep x 36.5 inches high. Original brasses. Each drawer is veneered in book matched crotch mahogany with satinwood cross banding. The high French feet flank a scrolled apron with checkered inlay. Old refinish.
