Scottish three-piece sterling silver tea service, Edinburgh. 1824-25. Maker's mark CB, for Charles Bendy, known for his decanter labels, ladles and tea pots. Weight: 49.8 troy ounces. A rare set of compressed globular form resting on round, stepped pedestal bases. The gadrooned bodies are accented with decorative acanthus rims and handles, and the open sugar bowl and milk jug retain an original gilt wash to their interiors. No monograms or erasures. No dents or dings...

Rare pair of Scottish sterling silver spurs from the Georgian period, bearing hallmarks for Edinburgh, 1813, maker N&G. These spurs are decorated with gadrooning and retain their original silver buckles and leather straps (not pictured). Condition is excellent, apart from two broken teeth on one of the iron rowels. Each spur is fully hallmarked. Size: 4.5" length x 3" width. Scottish silver of this era is rare, as are sterling spurs...

Arts and Crafts movement Roycroft hand hammered copper tray with wrought handles. Size: 15 1/2 inches diameter x 17 3/4 inches across the handles. Stamped with Roycroft logo on underside for c.1906-1910 period. Inspired by the socialist writings and designs of John Ruskin and William Morris in England, Elbert Hubbard founded, in 1894, the Roycroft artisan community in East Aurora, New York, as part of the American Arts and Crafts Movement...

The view in the bowl portrays the image of the Rock in the background with title, while two steamships are passing in the foreground...

Rene Lalique, France art glass carafe decanter in the Selestat pattern. Design first produced in 1925. Clear and frosted glass with an applied black glass neck ring, and with elongated petal motif. Molded signature on the underside, "R.LALIQUE" with France etched in script, together with 'N5072'. Size: 10.5 inches ht. x 5.75 inches diameter. Including the original stopper. Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.

A scarce Arts & Crafts style silver serving spoon by Richard Blanchard, hand wrought in sterling. Circa 1910-1920. Richard Blanchard was the son of George Porter Blanchard who worked with Arthur Stone. Richard first applied his craft in Boston where he was listed as a Member of the Society of Arts and Crafts, Boston, from 1913-1921. A scarce English Regency period tortoise shell tea caddy with reverse serpentine front, domed top, and shaped apron base, circa 1820, exhibiting a double compartment interior with original tortoise shell lids. There is a silvered, scalloped key hole escutcheon plate and a shield shaped silvered plaque on the lid, with ivory trim surrounding the openings...

Storekeeper roly-poly tobacco tin, Red Indian Cut Plug Tobacco brand, by The American Tobacco Company. Early 20th century. Size: 7 inches height x 6 inches diameter. Very good condition, some minor paint loss and rust spotting (see photos). The lithograph decorated tin held one pound of tobacco and is in the form of a Store keeper wearing a blue jacket, black bow tie and smoking a pipe. Head lifts off as a cover. No dents.
