A Victorian figural horse hoof commemorative inkwell. Dated 1899. A cast, silver plate mount on a genuine horse's hoof, with a commemorative dedication to 'Diadem' in 1899. Size: 5.75 inches length x 4.75 inches x 3.5 inches hr. Some wear to plating. Missing the glass inkwell liner.

New England early blanket chest retaining its original faux flame mahogany paint decorated surface. Pine construction. Early 19th century. Lift-top storage compartment above two dovetailed drawers with original brass pulls supported on high French feet. Offered in as-found estate condition, with some light scratches to the paint. A Renaissance Revival library table in walnut with wonderful carved and pierced acanthus leaf decoration to either end support. The medial stretcher supports three beautifully proportioned turned and carved balusters, and a gadrooned frieze reveals two real and two faux drawers with oak interior, again with acanthus decorated wooden pulls. Two ironstone soup plates by Minton in the Imari "Oriental Japan" pattern, #5194, with impressed triangle date mark for 1843. Size: 10.25" diameter. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, staining or restoration, just some light crazing. Underglaze blue backstamp with pattern name and impressed "BB New Stone" (for Best Body ironstone).

Rare dancing Harlequin candle snuffer cast in sterling silver, London, 1894-95, maker's mark 'M.F.' The harlequin figure is holding a pair of snake form rings above his head. Harlequin sugar tongs or nips are uncommon, however, the harlequin candle snuffers are extremely scarce. They are distinguished from the sugar nips by the fact that the leaf grips are flat and set slightly at an angle to properly extinguish the flame of a candle...

Carved bone and ebony Civil War era dominoes. Mid 19th century. This complete set is comprised of 28 tiles carved from bone, laminated onto ebony, secured with brass pins. They are offered in their original wooden case with sliding cover. Box measures: 6.75" x 2.25" x 2.4". Condition is very good, but exhibiting some signs of wear and minor chipping to some tiles. All in all a great early game.

Antique English cut glass claret jug with sterling silver mounts by John Figg, London, 1872-1873. The glass body is decorated with a cut star design. There is a chip to the glass foot ring, which is covered by a sterling silver mount, hallmarked by E.H. Stockwell, London 1872. Otherwise condition is excellent. Matching hallmarks to cover, handle and silver neck ring. Size: 9.5" high x 5.5" across handle/spout x 5" diameter.

An English Victorian claret jug in cut crystal mounted with a sterling silver handle and spout with hinged cover. Fully hallmarked on the silver neck for Birmingham, 1892, by Vale Brothers & Sermon. Size: 8.5" ht. x 5.5" x 4.5". Condition: No chips, cracks, dents, or repairs. Crystal is clear apart from some slight cloudiness on the very bottom of the jug (which might be removed with soaking).

Elgin 21 jewels gold filled men's open face pocket watch, engraved with railroad train scene. Date: 1898. Running condition.

Antique hand carved wooden American eagle figure with gilded gesso finish, supported on a modern faux marble plinth. 19th century. Size: 13.75" overall height (10.25" ht. eagle alone) x 13.5" wide x 6" deep. There is minor flaking to the gilded surface and some chips at the tips of both wings.

English inlaid Tunbridgeware pocket watch holder, for the suspended display of a single pocket watch. Late 19th or early 20th century. Made from rosewood and exotic wood veneers, with an inlaid frieze of scrolling foliage running round the base. Nice condition.
