Old Paris French porcelain coffee cup with saucer, decorated with portraits of classical scholars and philosophers. Circa: 1800-1825. Each side of the cup bears a round cartouche with a classical portrait in profile against a maroon ground, while the saucer has three cartouches with representations of the arts and sciences. An attractive and substantial hot water or wine jug, adorned with applied acanthus leaf motifs and repousse work. and supported on three scrolled feet. Coin silver table spoon by Frederick Marquand in the fiddle and thread pattern. Circa 1820s. Frederick Marquand worked in Savannah, Georgia and in New York City. From 1820-1826 he worked in Savannah and then relocated to NYC . It is likely that this spoon was manufactured during his time in Savannah. Size: 8 3/4 inches length. 2.85 troy ounces. Engraved on handle with script initial 'F.' Excellent condition with no dings or wear to the bowl. Hallmarks are crisp and legible.

George III sterling silver oval cake basket with swing handle, London, 1800-1801, by famous silversmiths Robert & David Hennell. This basket is supported on an oval pedestal foot and has reeded decoration on the rims and handle, as well as a band of floral engraving. It is hallmarked with a full set of marks on the inside of the rim and with the lion passant and maker's stamps only on the handle. Excellent condition, no monogram, or repairs.
