American stoneware 2 gallon ovoid jug by Cowden and Wilcox, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Circa 1865. Decorated with hand painted cobalt blue floral spray. Size: 14 in. ht. Very minor flake to top rim and a tight firing line to one side of top of handled (not damage but made during manufacturing) and fine tiny burst bubbles in cobalt glaze, also part of manufacturing process. A large repousse decorated sterling presentation trophy goblet - London, 1866, by Henry Holland and Company. Size: 9 7/8 inches ht. Weight: 15.5 Troy ozs. The inscription reads: Presented by the Trustees of the Pontypool Park Estate for Competition by No. 1 (or Pontypool) Company of the 2nd Monmouth Rifle Volunteer Corps. 1866. The winner's name is etched into a cartouche on the reverse side - Sgt. Robert W. Wallace, 2nd Monmouths. Excellent condition.

This is a 1st Place prize for "Sailing Boats Under 24 Feet, Won By The Petrel, C.H. Simmons." And on the reverse in a cartouche - "G.A.R. 1st Prize, Sept. 5, 1872." Pair of English brass Georgian telescopic ejector candlesticks, c.1800. Size: 6.75" - 9.25" height x 3.5" x 3.5". Condition: Some tiny stress cracks to the top of the lower section of one candlestick (see photos detail). Also, one stick requires extra effort to get it to remain in the fully extended position and probably required some sort of new dampening material to keep it in place.

Early American coin silver chamberstick, probably upstate New York, Albany area. Circa: 1800-1820. This heavy chamberstick bears unidentified pseudo-hallmarks on the foot ring that are listed in J.R. McGrew's book on maker's marks as probably upstate New York. Missing the snuffer & some minor blemishes. The heavy silver nut on the base is over an iron nut, which is probably a later replacement. Vue d'une Ancienne Abbaye Staffordshire historical plate by Enoch Wood. Circa 1825. This pearlware plate is decorated in a dark blue transfer and is from the "French series." It has a grape vine border and bears on the back the pottery's factory impressed mark WOOD as well as the pattern name in an underglaze blue stamp. Size: 9" diameter. Condition: Very good with a couple of very small pin sized flecks to the glaze and some fine crazing.
