Swiss music box in an inlaid rosewood case with hinged lid and internal glass dust cover; the movement with a 6" brass cylinder playing four Scottish songs on a steel comb. Made in Geneva in the late 19th century. Tunes include: The Blind Girl to her Harp, Bonnie Doon, The Blue Bells of Scotland, and Old Bob Ridley. A Chinese export rose medallion porcelain vase of baluster form with four applied gilded lizard handles. Circa 1840-50s. The vase is decorated in polychrome enamels with two panels of courtesans with gilding in their hair and with two of butterflies and roses in a vase. Size: 10 inches height x 4.5 inches diameter. Condition: One of the lizard handles is missing a front leg and there is some minor wear to gilding on top rim (See photo details).

A stunning European, probably French, sideboard/cabinet adorned with carved griffins, urns and rosettes in the Aesthetic Movement style. Circa 1880-1890s. Size: 56.5 inches length x 20 inches depth x 44.25 inches height. Solid oak with a reddish orange marble top ( a later replacement). There are two hidden frieze drawers with rosettes above a double door cabinet, carved with griffin handled urn motifs.

Victorian diminutive size secretary bookcase in walnut and burl walnut. Circa 1860-70s. Size: 83.5 inches ht. x 37 inches width x 20 inches depth. Excellent original finish and condition; found in a home in Northfield, Vermont. The lower section has a cylinder roll-top with burl panel, revealing a pull-out writing surface and cubby holes, above 5 drawers and a cupboard. The upper section has two glazed doors and adjustable shelves.

A matching pair of Shaker #3 rockers from the Mount Lebanon, NY community. 19th century. Each chair bears a '3' branded on the upper back slat, and one chair displays a Mt. Lebanon manufacturer's stamp on the third back slat. Excellent condition, retaining an old pecan colored finish and with woven beige and blue cloth tape seats. There is a minor split to one leg where it joins with the runner (but still structurally sound). Dimensions: 34" ht. x 19 3/8" width x 25" depth.

A sculptured bronze match holder with striker modeled in the form of a fox caught in a trap. Continental origin. Mid to late 19th century. Size: 4.25 inches length x 2.25 inches height x 3 inches depth. Excellent as-found condition. The fox is standing amidst foliage by a tree stump (which serves as the match holder) with his left fore paw caught in a metal snare. His expression displays the distress caused by his predicament. The fox is cast separately and attached to the base.

Very scarce Northwest Coast Tlingit potlatch ladle, fashioned from hand-beaten copper and Dall mountain sheep horn. Circa 1840s. Size: 9 inches length (3.25 inches handle). Copper objects were signs of great wealth and prestige among Northwest tribes. Such spoons were prized possessions that were brought out for marriages and important feasts. Mt. Washington Glass Works Crown Milano glass cracker biscuit jar of ribbed, melon form in a satin finish with a buff color shading to orange and with hand painted oak leaf decoration. The collar, swing handle and cover are of pewter. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks to the glass and the decoration is crisp. The cover is Mt. Washington and is stamped "MW 537," however, there is some play in its fitting, and it may be a marriage from another jar...

Rare John Wendt Medallion pattern sterling cream dipper, marked BALL, BLACK & CO. 925 PATENT. Wendt did not hallmark his silver, but many of his pieces bear these stamps. The handle end bears a medallion with a helmeted Greek warrior in profile, and the bucket-form bowl retains its original gilding. Circa 1865. Size: 6.5 inches. Excellent original condition, no monogram, and no repair nor damage...
