Each drawer is veneered in book matched crotch mahogany with satinwood cross banding. The high French feet flank a scrolled apron with checkered inlay. Old refinish.

A rare Georgian silver mote spoon with narrow oval bowl intricately hand-pierced with scroll and cross motifs, attached with an elongated drop to a slender, long and tapered stem with diamond point terminal. Size: 6 1/8" length. Excellent condition with no wear to bowl, and with no breaks or repairs. Stamped at the bowl end of the stem with two indiscernible hallmarks (probably a lion passant standard mark and maker's stamp)...
Basket-hilt officer's sword with inlaid blade, Scottish, 1796 pattern. 18th century. Brass open work basket hilt with original fish skin grip wrapped in copper wire, and the steel blade engraved and inlaid in gold with emblems of a coronet, a Highlander, and crossed cannons. "Deserted Station" watercolor painting by Frederick Clay Bartlett, Jr. (American, 1907-1955). Signed lower right and dated Sept. 1942. Clay Bartlett was a Vermont artist with a residence in Manchester, VT. He was a member of the Southern Vermont Artists from 1934-1951. This painting depicts an abandoned railway station with its shutters closed and with a stationary train on the adjacent tracks. Size: 13" x 19" (sight). Excellent condition.

Storekeeper roly-poly tobacco tin, Red Indian Cut Plug Tobacco brand, by The American Tobacco Company. Early 20th century. Size: 7 inches height x 6 inches diameter. Very good condition, some minor paint loss and rust spotting (see photos). The lithograph decorated tin held one pound of tobacco and is in the form of a Store keeper wearing a blue jacket, black bow tie and smoking a pipe. Head lifts off as a cover. No dents.
