A pair of porcelain covered sauce tureens with under plates from a dessert service. Circa 1815-1820. These English porcelain tureens are richly decorated with gilt scrolls and hand painted summer flowers. They are unmarked, but are possibly either Spode or Coalport. Condition of the tureens is excellent, though there is considerable wear to the decoration on the under plates. No chips, cracks or restoration. Set of four silver handled knives by Paul Storr, royal goldsmith, London, 1820. Size: 8 1/2 inches long. Sterling silver loaded handles with thread decoration and engraved family crest of a swan with outstretched wings rising from a coronet; replaced stainless steel blades. Hallmarked with maker's mark of Paul Storr on one side and with full set of assay marks, with date letters for 1819 and 1820, on the other side. Excellent condition...

George III round waiter or card tray in sterling silver, London, 1802, by silversmith Thomas Wallis. Size: 6 inches diameter. No monogram 5.1 troy ounces/ 159 grams. No repairs, slight ripple in top commensurate with age and which does not detract from the appearance.

English George IV sterling silver wine jug, London, 1829, by silversmith Benjamin Preston. Size: 9 3/8 in. ht. x 7 1/2" x 5 in. 23.3 Troy ounces. An attractive and substantial hot water or wine jug, adorned with applied acanthus leaf motifs and repousse work. and supported on three scrolled feet. Engraved with family monogram in a cartouche, and with later presentation from 1928 on base. Nice condition but with a single push in on the underside where one foot attaches.

An English antique staddle stone for your garden. This mushroom shaped stone was originally a support for an English granary building, which served to elevate the structure above ground level, allowing for air circulation and preventing rodents from getting into the granary. Most of these stones date from the 18th or early 19th century. It consists of a vertical base that supports a dome-shaped cap stone. Size: approx. 25" ht. x 18" diameter...

Pair English George III knife boxes in Hepplewhite style. Circa 1800. Each box veneered in figured mahogany with boxwood stringing and serpentine shaped fronts. The sloping hinged lids are adorned with marquetry ovals depicting a dove on an olive branch on a hardwood ground. These boxes retain their internal cutlery dividers and have a star inlaid inside the lids. The boxes are in very good condition with some old veneer repair...

Georgian Old Sheffield plate silver chamberstick with original bobeche and snuffer. Silver fused to copper. Late 18th or early 19th century. Size: 5.75" diameter x 4" ht. Very good condition with no rosing. Date of 1715 is engraved inside the candle nozzle. This date is too early to be a date of manufacture, so was either added at a later date or commemorates an earlier date, such as a birth date.

Georgian sterling silver mug by Peter and William Bateman, London, 1808; maker's mark overstruck by that of George Gray. The Batemans were one of the most famous families of English silversmiths in the 18th and early 19th centuries. This baluster form mug has a leaf capped double scroll handle and rests of a spreading circular foot. Full set of clear hallmarks below the rim to the side of the handle...

Old Paris French porcelain coffee cup with saucer, decorated with portraits of classical scholars and philosophers. Circa: 1800-1825. Each side of the cup bears a round cartouche with a classical portrait in profile against a maroon ground, while the saucer has three cartouches with representations of the arts and sciences. Fully gilded interior. Excellent condition with the rich gilding intact. No chips, cracks or restoration. Unmarked.

Rare pair of Scottish sterling silver spurs from the Georgian period, bearing hallmarks for Edinburgh, 1813, maker N&G. These spurs are decorated with gadrooning and retain their original silver buckles and leather straps (not pictured). Condition is excellent, apart from two broken teeth on one of the iron rowels. Each spur is fully hallmarked. Size: 4.5" length x 3" width. Scottish silver of this era is rare, as are sterling spurs...

Rare New England sampler from Enfield, NH, dated 1825, embroidered by Cynthia Terry, aged 11. Decorated with baskets of flowers and with the poem: "When death does throw his fatal dart / The nearest earthly friends must part / Parents must leave their children dear / When they the dreadful summons hear." Size: 11.5 inches x 10.5 inches. Offered in an antique giltwood frame. Very good condition. Some light toning in spots.

English partial tea service adorned in Imari decoration, unmarked but probably Coalport, with some pieces bearing the pattern number 653 painted in red. Circa 1810-1825. This service includes the following items: teapot with stand, milk jug, waste bowl, 9.5 inch plate, 6 tea cups, 2 coffee cups (one cracked), and 4 saucers. Dimensions of tea pot: 10 inches long x 5.5 inches high x 5 inches deep. Very good condition with some wear to gilding.

English Staffordshire handleless tea bowl/cup and saucer with dark blue transfer of two ladies in a flower garden, bearing a printed blue mark, RILEY, with an impressed hand; circa 1800-1825. Condition: Manufacturing flaw - a burst bubble to interior of cup with 2 small light brown stains, otherwise excellent.

George III wine jug of classical urn form, decorated with bands of bright-cut foliate engraving. London, 1791, by John Robins. The jug is further adorned with an urn finial, bent wood handle, and with an engraved shield-shaped cartouche with family monogram. Size: 12 1/8" ht. x 6" length x 4 3/4" diameter. Excellent antique condition.

A rare Georgian silver mote spoon with narrow oval bowl intricately hand-pierced with scroll and cross motifs, attached with an elongated drop to a slender, long and tapered stem with diamond point terminal. Size: 6 1/8" length. Excellent condition with no wear to bowl, and with no breaks or repairs. Stamped at the bowl end of the stem with two indiscernible hallmarks (probably a lion passant standard mark and maker's stamp). The original owner's initials 'T' over 'L.S.' are engraved in block ...

Rare English Bilston type figural bonbonniere in the form of a seal's head, fashioned in painted enamels over copper. Circa 1760-1790. The cover is brass mounted and hand painted with two running hounds. The box is unmarked but was probably made at Bilston. Condition: some hairlines and with minor chipping and lines to the hinged cover; tiny blemish on animal's chin. Size: 1.5" length x 1.25" diameter. True period examples like this are scarce to the market.
