Double ended Victorian scent bottle of faceted ruby colored glass with gold filled, foliate engraved metal end caps. The bottle is divided at the midpoint to form two separate scent vials. One end has a cap that opens with a button and hinge, while the other has a screw cap of similar appearance. Engraved initial 'B' on caps. Circa 1880s. Unmarked, but probably English. No internal stopper. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks or dents (one cap fitting is slightly loose)...

A French Manche a Gigot bone holder used to secure a leg of lamb or mutton while carving. The handle bears the French guarantee mark of the first silver standard (.950) and the holder, with its crown shaped terminal and trefoil screw, is of silverplated steel. Circa 1860-80. Excellent condition. Length: 8 3/8 inches.

A large presentation goblet by John Edward Terry, London, 1840, with blown out repousse decoration of morning glories and foliage. Size: 10 in ht. x 5.25 in. diameter. 18.8 Troy ounces. Rare John Wendt Medallion pattern sterling cream dipper, marked BALL, BLACK & CO. 925 PATENT. Wendt did not hallmark his silver, but many of his pieces bear these stamps. The handle end bears a medallion with a helmeted Greek warrior in profile, and the bucket-form bowl retains its original gilding. Circa 1865. Size: 6.5 inches. Aesthetic style coin silver octagonal bowl by William Forbes for the famous firm of Ball, Tomkins and Black, New York. Circa 1845. This bowl was probably originally part of a tea and coffee service. It weighs a substantial 12.92 troy ounces and measures 3.5 inches ht. x 5.75 inches diameter. It is beautifully engraved with chinoiserie decoration, using stylized Chinese pagodas and scrolling foliage. One panel is engraved with the family monogram 'MEW.' Excellent condition.

Unusual silver plated kerosene oil lamp with bright cut, hand engraved decoration. Wick adjustment knob marked The Silberlight Co., London, Manufactured in Germany. 19th century. Mt. Washington Glass Works Crown Milano glass cracker biscuit jar of ribbed, melon form in a satin finish with a buff color shading to orange and with hand painted oak leaf decoration. The collar, swing handle and cover are of pewter. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks to the glass and the decoration is crisp. The cover is Mt. Washington and is stamped "MW 537," however, there is some play in its fitting, and it may be a marriage from another jar...

Early Keene Marlboro Street Glassworks, Keene, New Hampshire mold-blown glass flask with masonic and American eagle relief molded designs. Early 19th century. Olive green/brown color; rough pontil. Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Size: 7.5 inches height x 4 inches width.

A rare and early chalk ware figure of a resting spaniel with finely molded detailing, glass eyes and the original finish. Circa 1870's to 1890's. Size: 16 inches long x 4 inches high x 11 inches deep. A few minor chips to the underside, not visible on the exterior, and minor scuffing consistent with the age.

English novelty, figural horseshoe shaped inkstand by James Dixon and Son of Sheffield, fashioned in silverplate (EPNS) with a removable glass inkwell. 19th century. A wonderful desk accessory for the equestrian collector. Excellent original condition, with no chips, dents, cracks or restoration. Size: 4 7/8" wide x 5" deep x 2" high.

A Chinese export rose medallion porcelain vase of baluster form with four applied gilded lizard handles. Circa 1840-50s. The vase is decorated in polychrome enamels with two panels of courtesans with gilding in their hair and with two of butterflies and roses in a vase. Size: 10 inches height x 4.5 inches diameter. Condition: One of the lizard handles is missing a front leg and there is some minor wear to gilding on top rim (See photo details).

A grouping of Imari pattern Ironstone china by G.L. Ashworth Bros. English. Circa 1862-1891. Included are six dinner plates (10 in.), two soup plates (10 in.), and a large 19 in. oval serving platter. These total 9 pieces. The decoration is hand colored, and the two soup plates have a different coloring to the central design than the other pieces. The platter measures 15 in. x 19 in.

Historical Staffordshire dark blue covered sugar bowl with transfer of Washington at Mount Vernon. Unmarked, early 19th century. Condition: light staining to interior of bowl and some minor glaze roughness; professional restoration to cover, not visible from exterior but showing under black light and with some color variation to the inside of the cover (see photo). Size: 6.5 inches long x 4 inches deep x 5.75 inches high.

American document box with folk art inlaid design. Mahogany. Mid 19 century. A ripple edge molding adorns all edges as well as the base of this box. The top and sides are decorated with contrasting light and dark wood inlays, including a compass point and six stars on the lid and a heart and scroll design to the front. Size: 14 3/8 inches length x 8 7/8 inches depth x 6 inches height. Condition: some loss to the ripple molding. From a Woodstock, Vermont residence.

American figural cow weathervane, probably Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts. Circa 1880-1890. Size: 26.5 inches length x 16 inches height. A full copper body and cast zinc head of classic form with wonderfully delineated lines. Gilt over original gilt surface, with some verdigris. Overall excellent condition; no restoration to the body. Cushing and White made these models with or without udders. Provenance: private collection, Chatham, New York.
