American document box with folk art inlaid design. Mahogany. Mid 19 century. A ripple edge molding adorns all edges as well as the base of this box. The top and sides are decorated with contrasting light and dark wood inlays, including a compass point and six stars on the lid and a heart and scroll design to the front. Size: 14 3/8 inches length x 8 7/8 inches depth x 6 inches height. Condition: some loss to the ripple molding. From a Woodstock, Vermont residence.

Tiffany and Co. sterling silver pierced sugar sifter spoon in strawberry vine pattern. Circa 1891-1902. Manufactured during the directorship of Charles Tiffany and stamped on the base of the handle. Size: This is the large size version measuring 5 3/8 inches in length. Monogrammed inside the pierced bowl. 1.36 troy ounces. Excellent condition. Would also serve nicely as a tea strainer because of the fine piercing.

A Chinese export rose medallion porcelain vase of baluster form with four applied gilded lizard handles. Circa 1840-50s. The vase is decorated in polychrome enamels with two panels of courtesans with gilding in their hair and with two of butterflies and roses in a vase. Size: 10 inches height x 4.5 inches diameter. Art Nouveau plique a jour translucent, shaded enamel & gilt silver sugar tongs. Unmarked, but Norwegian in origin. Circa 1890-1920. Size: 5 inches in length. These fabulous tongs are fashioned in gilded silver that is formed with dramatic scrolls filled with shaded translucent enamels colored in various shades of green, blue, yellow, amethyst, and orange. The cast grips are formed like Scandinavian biting beasts. Nice condition, with no missing enamel or repairs.

Continental standing cow creamer fashioned of 800 standard silver, with a German origin. Circa late 19th/early 20th century. The cow exhibits a pair of forward curling horns, has its tail curled on the top of its back, and displays a full udder. There is a hinged cover on its back for filling, and the cream pours through its mouth. Excellent condition and with wonderful detailing to the cow's features.
