A Georgian sterling silver pap boat by famous female silversmith Hester Batemen, London, 1784. No repairs or dents. Fully hallmarked below top rim. Size: 4.5 inches length x 2.75 inches depth x 1 inch height. Pap boats were used for the feeding of infants and invalids.

A wonderfully ornate English sterling silver teapot, London, 1838, maker BD (possibly Benjamin Reese Dexter). Dating from the beginning of Queen Victoria's reign, this tea pot is embossed with scroll and acanthus leaf decoration on the compressed body & spout, and rests on four shell feet. A Victorian walking stick with an exotic wood shaft fitted with a carved ivory handle modeled in the form of a fist clenching a ball. A fine touch of added quality is the carved snake bracelet with inlaid eyes which wraps around the hand, typical of jewelry worn in the Victorian age. An extra band of ivory is added as the collar and there is an ivory tip. The fineness of the carving is apparent in the detailed depiction of the fingernails. Excellent condition. A rare French porcelain figural inkstand in the form of a grazing cow, 19th century. This inkstand has a removable inkwell and sander and is modeled in the form of a grazing cow, complete with horns and bell, decorated in polychrome enamels, with overglaze gilt accents. It bears a blue pseudo Sevres mark on the underside. Continental, probably of French origin.
