Figural cow creamer, 800 silver, German, late 19th century. This heavy silver creamer is fashioned in the form of a cow with horns and with a curled tail that serves as the handle. A hinged cover adorned with a fly on the cow's back is used to fill the creamer, and the cream is poured from the cow's mouth.
