American Revolutionary War era military style wooden canteen. 19th century. Oak hand carved staves held together by four horizontal hand forged iron bands and two vertical bands; two iron rings and hand forged nails. A keg form canteen with two holes in the top; and with two iron carrying rings for a sling. Condition is very good; the upper most iron band is loose. Dimensions: 8" high x 8.5" wide x 5" deep.

American document box with folk art inlaid design. Mahogany. Mid 19 century. A ripple edge molding adorns all edges as well as the base of this box. The top and sides are decorated with contrasting light and dark wood inlays, including a compass point and six stars on the lid and a heart and scroll design to the front. Rare pair of Scottish sterling silver spurs from the Georgian period, bearing hallmarks for Edinburgh, 1813, maker N&G.
