Vermont Victorian oak fireplace mantelpiece and overmantel. Circa 1880-1900. Size: 60 inches width x 90 5/8 inches height x 12 inches depth. This ornate fireplace with mirror back was removed from a Victorian residence in Rutland, Vermont. It is entirely original and includes the mantelpiece with carved floral corner spandrels and transom, which features a 36 inches height x 41 inches fireplace opening...

Rare American Boston and Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, Massachusetts cut overlay bell pull, with white glass over cranberry and with brass end mounts. 'The Temptation of St. Anthony' by Edouard De Beaumont (French, 1821-1888), oil on canvas. Circa 1850s-1860s. Size: 30 inches x 20 inches. Charles Edouard de Beaumont was son of the sculptor, Jean-Baptiste Beaumont, and Charles studied under the artist Boisselier. He was primarily a lithographer but also painted in oils, and founded the Society of Watercolourists in 1879. Offered in an antique gilt wood frame. Signed in the lower left. Painting has been professionally restored and relined.

Minton hand painted botanical dessert service, including eight 9" dessert plates and 1 dessert stand. Date code for 1869. Each plate has a cobalt border with rich gilding and a hand-painted central reserve depicting various species of flowers, butterflies, berries, and insects. The stand has the same matching border but no botanical scene. All of the plates bear an impressed Minton mark; the stand is unmarked...

A large sterling silver goblet with half ribbed cup, Sheffield, 1898, by Cleft Alexander Mawer Clark of the Alexander Clark Manufacturing Company, Sheffield, England. Size: 10.245 inches ht. Weight: 19.7 Troy ounces (including iron bar). There is a slight push-in on the base of the pedestal which produces a slight wobble. No monogram.

A pair of large-sized Italian carved wood sculptures of angels. 19th century or earlier. Each polychromed figure is made from gessoed wood and is life size. The wings are attached as separate parts, screwed onto the backs of the angels. Their backs are flattened. Each figure is bearing gilded and silvered garlands of flowers and fruits and has silvered and gilded wings and hair...

Very decorative French woven wicker gathering basket for collecting grapes for wine making. Size: 30 inches ht. x 29 inches wide x 25 inches deep. Circa 1890. Very nice original condition. Wonderful as a hanging wall display.

Double ended Victorian scent bottle of faceted ruby colored glass with gold filled, foliate engraved metal end caps. The bottle is divided at the midpoint to form two separate scent vials. One end has a cap that opens with a button and hinge, while the other has a screw cap of similar appearance. Engraved initial 'B' on caps. Circa 1880s. Unmarked, but probably English. No internal stopper. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks or dents (one cap fitting is slightly loose). Size...

A French Manche a Gigot bone holder used to secure a leg of lamb or mutton while carving. The handle bears the French guarantee mark of the first silver standard (.950) and the holder, with its crown shaped terminal and trefoil screw, is of silverplated steel. Circa 1860-80.
