American Revolutionary War era military style wooden canteen. 19th century. Oak hand carved staves held together by four horizontal hand forged iron bands and two vertical bands; two iron rings and hand forged nails. A keg form canteen with two holes in the top; and with two iron carrying rings for a sling. Condition is very good; the upper most iron band is loose. Dimensions: 8" high x 8.5" wide x 5" deep.

18th century New England round tilt-top hutch/chair table. Pine. Size: 46 inches diameter x 28 inches ht. Shoe feet, scrolled arms, sliding seat storage compartment in base. Top may be pegged closed as a table or hinged to an upright position in order to save space and used as a chair. The seat in the base slides out to reveal storage beneath. Condition: refinished but with an attractive mellow surface with old patch repair to top (see photos). Nice overhang allows for plenty of leg room.

A rare English George III pear form fruitwood tea caddy. 18th century. Size: 8.75 inches height. x 4.5 inches diameter. Retaining wooden stem, original brass hinge, scalloped metal key escutcheon (lock not working) and remnants of foil lining. Condition is very good, with two drying age cracks in the lid which have been filled at some point in the past. Lovely patina. Original Georgian fruit-form tea caddies are scarce to find.

Georgian sterling silver table spoon in the very scarce Onslow or Scroll pattern. London, c.1765, maker's mark rubbed. Size: 8 1/8 inches length. Bowl in excellent condition with no dings or wear to the tip of the bowl. A family armorial with a Baron's coronet is engraved on the reverse of the handle. The cast scroll finial is attached to the stem with a scarf joint as was the practice on genuine examples of the period in this pattern. Weight: 1.88 troy ounces...

Hester Bateman - pair of table spoons in Old English pattern. London, 1788-1789, sterling silver. Length: 8 1/8 inches. This pair of silver serving spoons was made by England's most famous female silversmith, Hester Bateman. The egg shaped bowls are in excellent condition, with no dents, repairs or wear. There is an elongated drop to the reverse of each bowl, which is typical of Hester Bateman's spoons. Legible matching hallmarks. No monograms...

A New England Queen Anne highboy, circa 1750, in cherry, being a marriage of a period base with a period top. The proportions and color of the two components mesh very nicely, though the secondary woods differ, white pine versus chestnut. Found in a New Hampshire home. Refinished and with replaced brasses, otherwise in fine condition, without further restoration. Dimensions: 77 3/8" height x 38 1/2" width x 19 1/4" depth.

English George III sterling silver baluster form pint mug, London, 1780, probably by William Cox III. Size: 5 inches ht. x 5.25 inches x 3.75 inches. Weight - 12.3 troy ounces. This large-sized mug has an acanthus leaf-capped double scroll handle and is heavier than most comparable examples. Condition is good with no repairs, just a few minor bruises to the body. A rare Georgian silver mote spoon with narrow oval bowl intricately hand-pierced with scroll and cross motifs, attached with an elongated drop to a slender, long and tapered stem with diamond point terminal. Georgian physician's blood letting set including a silver mounted green shagreen case with hinged top, complete with its four original thumb lancets, each with a triangular steel blade housed in hinged tortoiseshell protective guards. This bowl was manufactured in London in 1784 by the famous partnership of silversmiths Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, who produced silver for the firm of Parker and Wakelin, the Royal Goldsmiths who provided silver for the Prince of Wales and for much of the nobility of England. An attractive maple desk with some tiger graining to the slant front. Dovetailed construction visible on top corner joints; high French feet; four graduated drawers with replaced Chippendale style brasses.
