Staffordshire pottery cottage bank, 19th century, with applied floral garland around door. Size: 4.5" ht. x 4.25" wide x 2.25" deep. Overall crazing to glaze, and a more pronounced craze line encircling one of the chimney bases, though it does not appear to be a crack. Some damage to two of the applied flowers surrounding the door.

An English Victorian still bank in the form of a Bank building with shrubbery. Brass and iron. 19th century.

Historical Staffordshire dark blue covered sugar bowl with transfer of Washington at Mount Vernon. Unmarked, early 19th century. Condition: light staining to interior of bowl and some minor glaze roughness; professional restoration to cover, not visible from exterior but showing under black light and with some color variation to the inside of the cover (see photo). Size: 6.5 inches long x 4 inches deep x 5.75 inches high.

An English figural centerpiece epergne with intertwined palm trees and antlered stag, unmarked but possibly by Elkington & Co. Circa 1865. There are three candelabra arms and a fourth central light that converts to hold a glass, trumpet shaped flower vase. Wonderful detailing and in very good overall condition, but with minor solder repairs to several of the fronds, some bent, and with a couple of frond tips missing...

Mt. Washington Glass Works Crown Milano glass cracker biscuit jar of ribbed, melon form in a satin finish with a buff color shading to orange and with hand painted oak leaf decoration. The collar, swing handle and cover are of pewter. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks to the glass and the decoration is crisp. The cover is Mt. Washington and is stamped "MW 537," however, there is some play in its fitting, and it may be a marriage from another jar...

Victorian Mercury glass demijohn bottle, 19th century. This early example of Mercury glass is hand blown with a rough pontil mark on the underside and a sheared lip at the top of the narrow neck. The rectangular form is embellished with vertical ribbing. The mercury finish is in very good condition, with only a single half inch diameter area where the finish exhibits signs of oxidation. There are bubbles visible in the glass. Dimensions: 9.5" wide x 7" deep x13.25" high.

Hupa woven storage basket, Northwest Coast of California, c.1880. Size: 9.5 inches diameter x 5 inches ht. Tightly woven from alder on a hazelnut and willow warp with a dyed 'step design' in black. Good condition with tight weave and nice signs of use.

A large sterling silver goblet with half ribbed cup, Sheffield, 1898, by Cleft Alexander Mawer Clark of the Alexander Clark Manufacturing Company, Sheffield, England. Size: 10.245 inches ht. Weight: 19.7 Troy ounces (including iron bar). There is a slight push-in on the base of the pedestal which produces a slight wobble. No monogram.

English cameo art glass vase by Thomas Webb & Sons, late 19th century. Double gourd form decorated in three colors with relief carved blue and white floral designs on a satin glass ground, together with a trademark butterfly on the reverse. Size: 7" high x 4.5" diameter. Excellent condition. Molded signature on underside of base.

French sewing etui fashioned in the form of a jade glass egg with gilt brass mounts, including the original sterling silver sewing tools: thimble, needle case, stiletto, scissors, and bodkin. The etui is suspended from a brass chain with finger ring. 19th century. Size: 3 inches length x 2 inches diameter. Condition: some wear to gilding on brass mounts. All tools are original with sterling handles, each bearing tiny French guarantee hallmarks...

Two very decorative tole painted English tea canisters or caddies decorated in the Japanese taste painted with gilded Geisha girl figures and inlaid in mother-of-pearl. Circa 1860. Some loss to inlay. Size: 20 inches ht. x 12 inches x 12 inches.

English novelty, figural horseshoe shaped inkstand by James Dixon and Son of Sheffield, fashioned in silverplate (EPNS) with a removable glass inkwell. 19th century. A wonderful desk accessory for the equestrian collector. Excellent original condition, with no chips, dents, cracks or restoration. Size: 4 7/8" wide x 5" deep x 2" high.

Antique late 19th century red lacquered wood Hsun-Ok offering vessel from Burma. Size: 27 inches ht. x 15 inches diameter. Probably from Pagan region, with two registers of laid-on decoration below the spire and a series of hand-turned balusters on the pedestal. Minor damage to cover.

Walter Lofthouse Dean (American, 1854-1912), oil on canvas, circa 1880s, 18" x 24". This painting depicts a busy harbor, possibly Gloucester or even Boston, with numerous sailing vessels and a steam powered tugboat. Walter L Dean was a Massachusetts marine painter and an experienced sailor. He studied art in Boston and then in Paris at the Academie Julian with Lefebvre and Boulanger, in 1883. He maintained an art studio in E. Gloucester, Mass...

A rare French porcelain figural inkstand in the form of a grazing cow, 19th century. This inkstand has a removable inkwell and sander and is modeled in the form of a grazing cow, complete with horns and bell, decorated in polychrome enamels, with overglaze gilt accents. It bears a blue pseudo Sevres mark on the underside. Continental, probably of French origin. Professional restoration to horns; also, there is a tiny manufacturing line on the edge of the base (see photo detail)...

Rare Gorham Arts & Crafts sterling silver sauce gravy ladle in a hammered surface and with mixed metals design on the handle of two cherries, leaf and twig in bronze, and with a second leaf in gilded silver. Circa 1885. Excellent condition. Marks: stamped with the Gorham logo (lion, anchor, G) "sterling & other metals", and with the name of the retailer George H. Ford. Size: 6" length.

Antique Jabot sword pin replica of a Regulation 1821 Model U.S. Infantry Officer's sword, unmarked but testing as 14K gold, with white enamel, four round diamonds and a detailed eagle head pommel. Circa 1850-1860s. Size: 4 inches length. Weight: 3.9 dwt./6 grams. Excellent condition.

Large English Victorian sarcophagus form tea caddy, fashioned of rosewood veneers with mother-of-pearl floral inlay to cover and front, resting on compressed ball feet. Two lidded interior tea storage compartments with traces of original tinning, but missing the original glass mixing bowl. Mid 19th century. Very nice condition, with some minor chipping at corners, tight crack on back, and with some inlay missing on cover and escutcheon. Size: 12 3/8" long x 6 1/4" deep x 7 1/2" high.
