A very decorative sterling silver Art Nouveau cigarette case by W. Kerr, with all-over chasing with an eagle and scroll motif. Size: 4.25 inches x 3 inches. Let 19th century. Excellent condition, and with gilded interior.

Rare Gorham Arts & Crafts sterling silver sauce gravy ladle in a hammered surface and with mixed metals design on the handle of two cherries, leaf and twig in bronze, and with a second leaf in gilded silver. Circa 1885. Excellent condition. Marks: stamped with the Gorham logo (lion, anchor, G) "sterling & other metals", and with the name of the retailer George H. Ford. Size: 6" length.

A pair of large-sized Italian carved wood sculptures of angels. 19th century or earlier. Each polychromed figure is made from gessoed wood and is life size. A scarce set of five Irish sterling silver forks, by silversmith Peter Weeks, and each bearing hallmarks for Dublin in 1842-1843. Fashioned in the fiddle pattern, and each with a matching, engraved on the handle with a family crest of an arm dexter, bent and holding a dagger. Very good condition with some wear to the tines. Pair of Knight's helmet sterling silver pepper casters by George Unite and Sons, Birmingham, 1881. Tiffany & Co. English King large sugar sifter ladle, sterling silver with gilded, pierced bowl. Patented 1885. Size: 7" length. Excellent condition, retaining most of the original gilding of the bowl. No monogram, no damage or repairs. Crisp design. Circa 1885-1891 (Edward Moore's directorship of the company).

A large English majolica pitcher decorated with two pink wild roses on green leaf stems placed on a brown tree bark background, with twig handle. Circa 1880. Unmarked but possibly by Holdcroft. The interior with a light green glaze. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a pin head size burst glaze bubble on handle thumb rest and some minor crazing on base. American document box with folk art inlaid design. Mahogany. Mid 19 century. A ripple edge molding adorns all edges as well as the base of this box. The top and sides are decorated with contrasting light and dark wood inlays, including a compass point and six stars on the lid and a heart and scroll design to the front. Size: 14 3/8 inches length x 8 7/8 inches depth x 6 inches height. Condition: some loss to the ripple molding. From a Woodstock, Vermont residence.

A Chinese export rose medallion porcelain vase of baluster form with four applied gilded lizard handles. Circa 1840-50s. The vase is decorated in polychrome enamels with two panels of courtesans with gilding in their hair and with two of butterflies and roses in a vase. Size: 10 inches height x 4.5 inches diameter. Condition: One of the lizard handles is missing a front leg and there is some minor wear to gilding on top rim (See photo details).

Aesthetic movement Gorham sterling silver tea caddy. Circa 1888. Size: 4.5 inches ht. x 3.25 inches diameter. Weight: 5.48 Troy ounces. A fine 19th century American tea caddy in the Japanese taste with applied floral motifs. Condition: no repairs, but with a few small dings to the body. Gorham date marks for 1888.

Antique hand carved wooden American eagle figure with gilded gesso finish, supported on a modern faux marble plinth. 19th century. Size: 13.75" overall height (10.25" ht. eagle alone) x 13.5" wide x 6" deep. There is minor flaking to the gilded surface and some chips at the tips of both wings.

A French Manche a Gigot bone holder used to secure a leg of lamb or mutton while carving. The handle bears the French guarantee mark of the first silver standard (.950) and the holder, with its crown shaped terminal and trefoil screw, is of silverplated steel. Circa 1860-80. Excellent condition. Length: 8 3/8 inches.

English novelty, figural horseshoe shaped inkstand by James Dixon and Son of Sheffield, fashioned in silverplate (EPNS) with a removable glass inkwell. 19th century. A wonderful desk accessory for the equestrian collector. Excellent original condition, with no chips, dents, cracks or restoration. Size: 4 7/8" wide x 5" deep x 2" high.

A cased pair of repousse decorated napkin rings fashioned in sterling silver by the famous late 19th century manufacturer, Henry Holland, London, 1899-1900. This pair of napkin rings are of heavy weight and are decorated all over with crisp repousse work of scrolling foliage, and each is engraved with the original owner's initials in a circular cartouche, 'JHP' and 'JP'...

Scarce Chrysanthemum pattern sterling silver porringer by Tiffany and Co. Circa 1899-1900. This porringer was manufactured while Charles L. Tiffany was president of the company. Size: 8 7/8" x 5 1/4" diameter. 1 Pint capacity. Excellent condition, no monogram. Carved ivory handle with chrysanthemum motif, which matches the applied silver chrysanthemum decoration to the rim of the porringer.

An English Victorian claret jug in cut crystal mounted with a sterling silver handle and spout with hinged cover. Fully hallmarked on the silver neck for Birmingham, 1892, by Vale Brothers & Sermon. Size: 8.5" ht. x 5.5" x 4.5". Condition: No chips, cracks, dents, or repairs. Crystal is clear apart from some slight cloudiness on the very bottom of the jug (which might be removed with soaking).
