A stunning European, probably French, sideboard/cabinet adorned with carved griffins, urns and rosettes in the Aesthetic Movement style. Circa 1880-1890s. Size: 56.5 inches length x 20 inches depth x 44.25 inches height. Solid oak with a reddish orange marble top ( a later replacement). There are two hidden frieze drawers with rosettes above a double door cabinet, carved with griffin handled urn motifs.

Etruscan style Victorian bangle bracelet of buckle form, fashioned in 14kt gold with a higher karat wash, and set with 3 round diamonds and 16 seed pearls on a woven mesh backing. Circa 1880s. Unmarked, but tests 14kt with an 18kt vermeil. Wonderful quality and condition (a couple of tiny dings). It has a later inscription engraved on the inside of the bracelet, "1943 To Brenda, With all my love, Sam." Offered in its original leather covered, shaped display case with working clasp...

Victorian diminutive size secretary bookcase in walnut and burl walnut. Circa 1860-70s. Size: 83.5 inches ht. x 37 inches width x 20 inches depth. Excellent original finish and condition; found in a home in Northfield, Vermont. The lower section has a cylinder roll-top with burl panel, revealing a pull-out writing surface and cubby holes, above 5 drawers and a cupboard. The upper section has two glazed doors and adjustable shelves.

A decorative pair of English stone garden pine cone finials. Circa 1910. Painted white, some flaking. Large size and with good proportions. Size: 20.5 inches ht. x 9 inches diameter.

A large country hutch table with round 56 inches diameter pine top, that hinges upright on an oak chair base with seat and turned legs. Age: 19th century. Table top height - 29 3/4 inches. Pegged construction with removable top secured by wooden dowels. It is rare to find one of these chair tables with such a large diameter and with no restrictive stretcher base; great overhang. Will seat 6-8 people with comfort. Excellent condition.

Gorham sterling silver five-piece tea and coffee service in the Plymouth pattern. Date code for 1958. Included are teapot, coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, and waste bowl. This set has received little use and retains its original paper labels. No monogram. Size of coffee pot: 9.5 inches high, 2 3/8 pint capacity. Teapot: 7.25 inches high, 2 pint capacity. Excellent condition, with no dings or repairs, requiring just a polish or buffing.

Pairpoint centerpiece in silverplate with cut crystal vase, fashioned in a classical style with female masks and garlands, and supported on paw feet. The removable crystal vase is decorated with diamond cut motifs and has a star in the base. Circa 1890-1915. Condition: Two small chips to the crystal (one on top rim; one on underside of base). Marked on the underside with Pairpoint stamps and the number C1536. Size: 7" x 7" x 16.25" ht.

A Continental lowboy in walnut and walnut veneers. 18th century. Size: 32 3/8 inches wide X 21 1/2 inches deep X 30 inches high. Walnut veneered and cross banded top with line inlay above a long and two short drawers with a boldly scalloped apron and supported by cabriole legs with raised carved shells on the knees and with ball and claw feet. Brasses are later replacements.

China Trade School painting of Fishermen on a River. Oil on canvas. Late 19th century. Size: 13 inches x 16 inches. Unsigned. In this painting, fisherman are casting their nets in a river along the banks of their village, while family members watch from the shore. Offered in an antique carved, gilt-wood frame. Original condition with some craquelure to the painted surface.

Georgian oak single door hanging corner cupboard. English. 18th century. Size: 43 inches ht. x 30.5 inches width x 13.5 inches depth. The door with a carved, raised panel and brass 'H' hinges. The interior arranged with four shelves.

Dennis Sheehan (American, 1950 - ) - Twilight. Oil on canvas. Size: 6 inches x 12 inches. Circa 2004. Artist signed in lower right. Excellent condition and offered in a contemporary carved, silver/gilt wood plein air frame. This dramatic tonalist, small painting is typical of Sheehan's style and subject, capturing the moment just before sunrise over a wintry marshy landscape...

George III sterling silver ink stand by Henry Chawner, London, 1795. The sterling boat-form stand holds three matching, faceted pots with sterling tops, including a sanding pot, inkwell, and pen holder. All pots bear identical hallmarks that match the full set of marks on the underside of the stand. Also incised with the engraved initials "D.A.D." and "No. 18" to underside of stand. Condition is very good, with only some minor chipping to the bases of two of the pots...

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) - Yvette Guilbert. This colored lithograph is an original page from the weekly satirical newspaper "Le Rire", published in 1894. Toulouse-Lautrec produced 10 colored drawings for this humorous periodical over a period of three years, from 1894-1897. This illustration is of Yvette Guilbert, a music hall performer, who thrilled Parisian audiences with her audacious songs, curious smile and gestures with her long black gloves...

A double sided leaf from the 'Nuremberg Chronicle' depicting a Lightning Strike Upon Istanbul (1490) and the Fall of a Meteorite in Alsace (1492). Hand-colored woodcut engraving. Published in 1493. Sheet size: 17 inches x 12 inches. Plate 257. The 'Nuremberg Chronicle' is the most famous of Incunabula (pre-1500 book) and was written by Hartmann Schedel (1440-1514), being published in a Latin version (Liber Chronicarum) in 1493 and then later in the same year in a German language edition...

Rare English Bilston type figural bonbonniere in the form of a seal's head, fashioned in painted enamels over copper. Circa 1760-1790. The cover is brass mounted and hand painted with two running hounds. The box is unmarked but was probably made at Bilston. Condition: some hairlines and with minor chipping and lines to the hinged cover; tiny blemish on animal's chin. Size: 1.5" length x 1.25" diameter. True period examples like this are scarce to the market.
