Scarce Victorian parrot nutcracker, cast iron, original painted surface, c.1880-1900. Size: 6 inches ht. x 9 inches length x 2 inches depth. Very good original condition. Lift to tail to open nut cracking jaws.

The wings are attached as separate parts, screwed onto the backs of the angels. Their backs are flattened. Antique carousel horse by Armitage-Herschell Company of Tonawanda, New York. Late 19th century. This early carved jumper track horse retains almost all of its original painted surface and is in excellent original condition. Size: 59 inches length x 39 inches height x 11 inches depth. Hardly ever is a carousel horse encountered in this state of preservation and with so much of the original painted surface intact...

English mahogany reading stand. Circa 1850. This stand features a finely turned pedestal that supports a reading surface with opposing fold-up slopes and brass page restraints. The reading height adjusts in increments from 29" to 40.5", and there is a single frieze drawer at one end. Superb condition.

Antique Victorian Ansonia Crystal Palace No. 1 Extra parlor clock under a glass dome. Impressed Davies on wood base, patented, Jan. 26, 1874, with label on reverse. Brass 8-day movement striking on a bell. The gilded stamped brass face is accented in green enamel and has its original paper dial. Faux mercury pendulum with reflecting mirror back. Two patinated spelter figures of a boatsman with oar and a woman with hook. Walnut base. Running condition...

American document box with folk art inlaid design. Mahogany. Mid 19 century. A ripple edge molding adorns all edges as well as the base of this box. The top and sides are decorated with contrasting light and dark wood inlays, including a compass point and six stars on the lid and a heart and scroll design to the front. Size: 14 3/8 inches length x 8 7/8 inches depth x 6 inches height. Condition: some loss to the ripple molding. From a Woodstock, Vermont residence.

Antique hand carved wooden American eagle figure with gilded gesso finish, supported on a modern faux marble plinth. 19th century. Size: 13.75" overall height (10.25" ht. eagle alone) x 13.5" wide x 6" deep. There is minor flaking to the gilded surface and some chips at the tips of both wings.

Antique early American Chippendale period tall chest in tiger maple with ten graduated drawers supported on an ogee bracket base. This beautiful chest features an unusual drawer configuration of three small drawers, over two side by side drawers, above five finely graduated drawers. Older replaced brasses. Size: 55.25 inches ht. x 38.25 inches wide x 19.5 inches deep. Circa 1780.
