Old Paris French porcelain coffee cup with saucer, decorated with portraits of classical scholars and philosophers. Circa: 1800-1825. Each side of the cup bears a round cartouche with a classical portrait in profile against a maroon ground, while the saucer has three cartouches with representations of the arts and sciences. Fully gilded interior. Excellent condition with the rich gilding intact. No chips, cracks or restoration. Unmarked.

Rare New England sampler from Enfield, NH, dated 1825, embroidered by Cynthia Terry, aged 11. Decorated with baskets of flowers and with the poem: "When death does throw his fatal dart / The nearest earthly friends must part / Parents must leave their children dear / When they the dreadful summons hear." Size: 11.5 inches x 10.5 inches. Offered in an antique giltwood frame. Very good condition. Some light toning in spots.

Pair English George III knife boxes in Hepplewhite style. Circa 1800. Each box veneered in figured mahogany with boxwood stringing and serpentine shaped fronts. The sloping hinged lids are adorned with marquetry ovals depicting a dove on an olive branch on a hardwood ground. These boxes retain their internal cutlery dividers and have a star inlaid inside the lids. The boxes are in very good condition with some old veneer repair...

Early William III Britannia standard silver trefid tablespoon, London, 1699, by silversmith Francis Archbold, length 7.25 inches. The shallow bowl gilded on the interior and with a double ribbed and beaded rat tail. The upturned handle's terminal is cut with two notches. Hallmarks are quite well struck apart from the date letter which is worn but still legible. The higher Britannia silver standard of 95.84% was introduced in 1697 but is rarely found after 1730...

J. Pouyat, Limoges, France porcelain relish or condiment dish, decorated with rich gilding to the rococo rim and handles, and with a lustrous interior. There is a gilded original owner's initial "B" applied to one side, and the dish is signed on the under side by the decorator with the initials AB and dated 1933, together with the Pouyat stamp. Size: 10.5"L x 4"D x 3"H. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs, and with no wear to the gilding.

George III sterling silver oval cake basket with swing handle, London, 1800-1801, by famous silversmiths Robert & David Hennell. This basket is supported on an oval pedestal foot and has reeded decoration on the rims and handle, as well as a band of floral engraving. It is hallmarked with a full set of marks on the inside of the rim and with the lion passant and maker's stamps only on the handle. Excellent condition, no monogram, or repairs. Size: 14.25" length x 9.5" depth x 11" height.

Overall crazing to glaze, and a more pronounced craze line encircling one of the chimney bases, though it does not appear to be a crack. Some damage to two of the applied flowers surrounding the door.

A rare Georgian silver mote spoon with narrow oval bowl intricately hand-pierced with scroll and cross motifs, attached with an elongated drop to a slender, long and tapered stem with diamond point terminal.
