Matched set of six Hitchcock style dining room side chairs in an original green painted surface with bright floral painting. Circa 1830-40s. Dimensions: 32 inches H x 19 inches W x 18.5 inches D. Seat height: 17.5 inches. Structurally sound, with repairs to two of the upper crest rails, and with a sliver missing from one front turned leg. Great color and boldly decorated with bright floral sprays.

An early pair of Sioux native American buffalo hide Men's moccasins adorned with panels of red, yellow, green, black and white glass beads arranged in a geometric zig-zag design. Size: 11.5 in. length. Circa 1870.

Continental singing bird-in-cage automaton. Circa. 1900. Probably French or Swiss. Bird fashioned from real feathers, with glass eyes, and on a brass perch. Key-wind mechanism inside base of cage causes bird to sing various bird songs, while moving beak and turning head. Some loss to bird’s feathers. Musical movement is operational but sometimes hesitates, requiring a slight titling action to restore it, so probably requires some adjustment. Size: 12.5” ht.

William III/ Queen Anne Britannia silver dognose spoon, London, marked only with maker's mark of Francis Archbold. Circa 1700. Rare early spoon showing the transition of styles from the trefid to dognose. The dognose form is so called because of the shape of the end of the handle, also sometimes referred to as 'wavy end.' This example retains the broad, shallow bowl and ribbed rat tail of the earlier trefid form but without the characteristic notches in the terminal of the trefid...

Continental standing cow creamer fashioned of 800 standard silver, with a German origin. Circa late 19th/early 20th century. The cow exhibits a pair of forward curling horns, has its tail curled on the top of its back, and displays a full udder. There is a hinged cover on its back for filling, and the cream pours through its mouth. Excellent condition and with wonderful detailing to the cow's features. The cow stands firmly, but has a very slight wobble. No repairs...

Louis Philippe period Sevres porcelain scenic cabinet plate decorated with a gilded pink border surrounding a central hand painted view of the Chateau de Veauce. Circa 1840s. Titled on the reverse and bearing the Chateau des Tuileries red back stamp and Sevres factory Louis Philippe period blue monogram stamp. Made for J.E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia. This portrait is a copy of an original by Scotland's most noted painter of portraits, Sir Henry Raeburn. This copy has descended in the Grant-Suttie family since its being commissioned and was painted by a Scottish female painter, Agnes Campbell Imlach, being signed on the verso of the canvas...

Scottish three-piece sterling silver tea service, Edinburgh. 1824-25. Maker's mark CB, for Charles Bendy, known for his decanter labels, ladles and tea pots. Weight: 49.8 troy ounces. A rare set of compressed globular form resting on round, stepped pedestal bases. The gadrooned bodies are accented with decorative acanthus rims and handles, and the open sugar bowl and milk jug retain an original gilt wash to their interiors. No monograms or erasures. No dents or dings...

Rare pair of Scottish sterling silver spurs from the Georgian period, bearing hallmarks for Edinburgh, 1813, maker N&G. These spurs are decorated with gadrooning and retain their original silver buckles and leather straps (not pictured). Condition is excellent, apart from two broken teeth on one of the iron rowels. Basket-hilt officer's sword with inlaid blade, Scottish, 1796 pattern. 18th century. Brass open work basket hilt with original fish skin grip wrapped in copper wire, and the steel blade engraved and inlaid in gold with emblems of a coronet, a Highlander, and crossed cannons. Excellent condition apart form some wear to the grip. Overall length: 39.25". Blade length: 33.5"

Scenic topographical silver gilt souvenir spoon with enameled bowl depicting a steam powered ocean liner, and the handle with an enamel flag. 5.25 inches length. Excellent condition, with no chips or damage. Unmarked.

A Russian silver mug engraved with two town scenes by Moscow silversmith M. Dimitriyev (1854-1877), dated 1869, assayer Viktor Savinkov. Excellent condition with gilded interior. Size: 3 3/4 inches ht. x 2 5/8 inches diameter. Silver standard: 84 zolotniks (.875 pure silver).

Arts and Crafts movement Roycroft hand hammered copper tray with wrought handles. Size: 15 1/2 inches diameter x 17 3/4 inches across the handles. Stamped with Roycroft logo on underside for c.1906-1910 period. Inspired by the socialist writings and designs of John Ruskin and William Morris in England, Elbert Hubbard founded, in 1894, the Roycroft artisan community in East Aurora, New York, as part of the American Arts and Crafts Movement...
