Signed in lower right. Condition: very good with some minor foxing in the sky. This is the original painting that was published in Ted Kautzky's book, "Painting Trees and Landscapes in Watercolor" and illustrated on pages 86/87. A copy of this book is included with the sale of this original painting.
A fabulous repousse decorated sterling silver water pitcher by S. Kirk & Son Co., Baltimore. Circa 1900. This ewer is adorned all-over in an unusual repousse pattern with cat tails, ferns and roses. Excellent condition with no dents or repairs. Stamped under base "S.Kirk&SonCo. 925/1000 184". Size: 10 inches high x 8 inches across handle/spout. A superb example of Baltimore silver.

Wilder is best known for his winter views. During Calvin Coolidge's presidency, a winter scene by Wilder hung in the White House.

This chest has three horizontally positioned top drawers above five finely graduated drawers, flanked with fluted quarter columns, and supported on ogee form bracket feet.
