Vue d'une Ancienne Abbaye Staffordshire historical plate by Enoch Wood. Circa 1825. This pearlware plate is decorated in a dark blue transfer and is from the "French series." It has a grape vine border and bears on the back the pottery's factory impressed mark WOOD as well as the pattern name in an underglaze blue stamp. Size: 9" diameter. Condition: Very good with a couple of very small pin sized flecks to the glaze and some fine crazing.

An English Victorian sterling silver presentation trophy, London, 1872, by John and Henry Lias (probably). Size: 9 5/8 inches ht. Weight: 12.5 Troy ounces. This is a 1st Place prize for "Sailing Boats Under 24 Feet, Won By The Petrel, C.H. Simmons." And on the reverse in a cartouche - "G.A.R. 1st Prize, Sept. 5, 1872." Decorated in flat chasing in the Aesthetic Movement style. Excellent condition.

An English sterling silver presentation goblet, London, 1861, by Daniel Houle and Charles Harris. Size: 6 inches ht. Weight: 6 Troy ounces. The presentation inscription reads: "James Flack to Dennis Adams Esq'r. for his Great Liberality and Perseverance in assisting to establish the Cambridge Harriers, 28 June 1861"

A large repousse decorated sterling presentation trophy goblet - London, 1866, by Henry Holland and Company. Size: 9 7/8 inches ht. Weight: 15.5 Troy ozs. The inscription reads: Presented by the Trustees of the Pontypool Park Estate for Competition by No. 1 (or Pontypool) Company of the 2nd Monmouth Rifle Volunteer Corps. 1866. The winner's name is etched into a cartouche on the reverse side - Sgt. Robert W. Wallace, 2nd Monmouths. Excellent condition.

A large sterling silver trophy goblet for the Victoria Hotel Wolverton Billiard Handicap. London, 1901. by Robert Pringle and Sons. Size: 11 inches ht. Weight: 15.5 Troy ounces. "Won for the first time by Mr. H.S. Dunleary, December 1901." The with subsequent winners names in Jan. and Mar. 1904. Excellent condition.

English lozenge-shaped porcelain serving dish from a dessert service, embellished with a wide, elaborate gilded scroll border surrounding a central hand painted bouquet of summer flowers. Unmarked. Circa 1815-1820. Possibly Spode or Coalport. Condition: some minor wear to the gilding on the rim; no cracks or lines. Size: 10 3/4" x 7 3/8". Other pieces available from this service.

George III sterling silver mug, London, 1765, with tapering sides and featuring an acanthus leaf capped double scroll handle and a stepped base. Marks rubbed and maker's mark indistinct. No repairs or erasures. Size: 3 3/4 inches ht. X 4 1/4 inches across handle X 3 inches diameter. Condition: minor bruising to sides.

Scheier Art pottery plate by Edwin and Mary Scheier in a mat mauve glaze with stylized decoration of two faces. Mint condition. Circa 1950. Size: 7 1/8 inches in diameter. Signed on the underside with an incised Scheier mark. Scheier Pottery was the result of a collaboration by the husband/wife team of ceramicists, Edwin Scheier and Mary Goldsmith. Early American New England Chippendale era tall chest-on-chest. Circa 1770-1785. Cherry/pine secondary. Size: 68.25 inches ht. x 40 inches wide x 20 inches deep. This chest has an upper section with four graduated drawers, while the lower section has three similarly graduated drawers. The drawer fronts have a thumbnail molded edge. Coin silver sugar spoon by J.A. Horne, Dover, NH with fluted shell bowl, c.1850, bright-cut decoration to handle with engraved initial 'W' in a cartouche. Size: 6.25" length. Excellent condition.

Gilded sterling silver and blue enamel sauce ladle by David Andersen, the noted Norwegian silversmith and designer. Stamped on the reverse of the twisted handle '925' and with the mark used by David Andersen from 1924-1939. Size: 5.75 inches length. Condition: excellent, with no damage.

American stoneware 2 gallon ovoid jug by Cowden and Wilcox, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Circa 1865. Decorated with hand painted cobalt blue floral spray. Size: 14 in. ht. Very minor flake to top rim and a tight firing line to one side of top of handled (not damage but made during manufacturing) and fine tiny burst bubbles in cobalt glaze, also part of manufacturing process. Early American coin silver chamberstick, probably upstate New York, Albany area. Circa: 1800-1820. This heavy chamberstick bears unidentified pseudo-hallmarks on the foot ring that are listed in J.R. McGrew's book on maker's marks as probably upstate New York. Missing the snuffer & some minor blemishes. The heavy silver nut on the base is over an iron nut, which is probably a later replacement. Size: 6" x 5 1/8" diameter x 3" ht.

China Trade painting - "Coastal Village Scene With Anchored Junk". Oil on canvas. Circa: late 19th C. Size: 17 3/4 inches x 23 1/2 inches. Unsigned. A painting from the China Trade school depicting modest homes along a coastal estuary, together with the local inhabitants and a 'junk' at anchor. Offered in a black and gold wood frame and retaining a Quester Gallery label, Stonington, CT. Professionally restored and relined on a new stretcher.

Cast bronze portrait bas relief plaque of New York stationer, William Makepeace Hastings (1831-1912). Dated 1910. Size: 15 in. x 10 in. Signed with a monogram (artist not identified by us).

Pair of English brass Georgian telescopic ejector candlesticks, c.1800. Size: 6.75" - 9.25" height x 3.5" x 3.5". Condition: Some tiny stress cracks to the top of the lower section of one candlestick (see photos detail). Also, one stick requires extra effort to get it to remain in the fully extended position and probably required some sort of new dampening material to keep it in place.
