Abraham Rosenthal (Russian/American, 1886-1963) oil on artist board painting of Rockport Harbor. Size: 16 inches x 20 inches. Abraham Rosenthal was a Russian born, American painter who lived in New York and Rockport, Massachusetts. He studied at the Art Students League, Cooper's Union, and was a student of Emile A. Gruppe. He was a member of the Rockport Art Association. Condition is excellent; offered in a gilt wood frame. Signed lower right.

English Tunbridgeware work/sewing/jewelry box in walnut veneer, decorated with two bands of chevron inlay of various exotic woods and with two hexagonal mother-of-pearl escutcheons. Circa 1880-1900. The interior is lined with paper and fabric, and there is a fitted lift-out tray. Condition: age crack to rear top of lid, several older veneer patches at corners, replaced hinges, faint scratching of a name on cover. All decorative inlay is intact.
