Lolo Sarnoff (1916-2014) - The Voyage Of A Surching Heart, sculpture in acrylic. Dated Dec. 1997. Red acrylic hearts applied to a silvered and black acrylic background. Ready for wall mounting. Size: 22.5 inches x 14 inches. Titled "The Voyage Of A Surching Heart." Lolo Sarnoff was a noted sculptor, collector and patron of the arts. At the end of her life she had a home in Barnard, Vermont, and she created this piece for the current owner.

A pottery bowl or olla by the matriarch of the Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico, Lucy Martin Lewis (c.1899-1992). Circa 1940. This wide mouth pottery bowl was hand decorated in red and black colored slips with geometric designs inspired by the earlier Mimbres pottery. Though the vessel is unsigned, it is attributed by its decoration to Lucy Lewis, one of the most respected Acoma women potters. A large-size Native American pottery olla from Acoma pueblo, Zuni tribe, New Mexico. The pot is hand-coiled and shard fired and painted in red and black on white with encircling bands of stylized figures of deer and roadrunners. Circa 1910-1915. Size: 19.5 inches ht. x 16.5 inches in diameter. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Name of the original owner written in light pencil on the inside of the rim. Early American Chippendale period tall blanket chest. 18th century. Size: 46 1/2 inches high x 41 inches wide x 19 1/8 inches deep. New England origin with a lift top above two faux drawer fronts over three real drawers, and retaining the original snipe hinges. Fancy cut-scroll bracket base and apron. Brass bail handles are replacements. A rare and early tall blanket chest in a blonde finish.

English George III era Old Sheffield silver plated meat dome cover with robust gadrooned border and removable cast acanthus leaf-form handle. The cover is adorned with a full armorial engraved into a plaque of solid sterling silver which has been let into the cover in order to prevent any underlying copper from showing through the engraved family armorial. Circa 1810-1820. Size: 14 1/2 in. length x 10 1/2 in. depth x 8 1/2 in. ht. Sterling silver fused over copper; tinned interior.
