Large Federal style giltwood girandole mirror with convex glass, surmounted with a fully figured, carved and ebonized eagle with outstretched wings above an acanthus leaf crest. Early 20th century. Size: 42 inches width x 11 inches depth x 55 inches height. The convex mirror measures 22 inches in diameter and is encircled by bands of gilded balls and ebonized stars, between four girandole electrified candle arms.
