Aesthetic movement Gorham sterling silver tea caddy. Circa 1888. Size: 4.5 inches ht. x 3.25 inches diameter. Weight: 5.48 Troy ounces. A fine 19th century American tea caddy in the Japanese taste with applied floral motifs. Condition: no repairs, but with a few small dings to the body. Gorham date marks for 1888.

Decorative berry spoon in the Ivory pattern by Whiting, fashioned in sterling silver with an ornate gilded and chased bowl and with a carved ivory handle, which retains most of its original brown patination. Fulper Pottery Vasekraft art pottery vase, being an early conversion to a table lamp, with shade. Matte green glaze, with an applied bronze foot ring depicting classical athletes in a running frieze surrounding the base. Size: 8 inches diameter x 8 inches ht. Historical Staffordshire dark blue covered sugar bowl with transfer of Washington at Mount Vernon. Unmarked, early 19th century. Condition: light staining to interior of bowl and some minor glaze roughness; professional restoration to cover, not visible from exterior but showing under black light and with some color variation to the inside of the cover (see photo). Herend porcelain three-piece tea set, hand painted in the popular Rothschild bird pattern. 20th century. Size of teapot: 5.75 inches ht. x 9 inches across spout x 5.25 inches diameter. A wonderful set consisting of a globular teapot with bud finial to cover and tendril handle; covered sugar bowl with bud finial; and milk jug with tendril handle.

Rare John Wendt Medallion pattern sterling cream dipper, marked BALL, BLACK & CO. 925 PATENT. Wendt did not hallmark his silver, but many of his pieces bear these stamps. The handle end bears a medallion with a helmeted Greek warrior in profile, and the bucket-form bowl retains its original gilding. Circa 1865. Size: 6.5 inches. A large sterling silver goblet with half ribbed cup, Sheffield, 1898, by Cleft Alexander Mawer Clark of the Alexander Clark Manufacturing Company, Sheffield, England. Size: 10.245 inches ht. Weight: 19.7 Troy ounces (including iron bar). There is a slight push-in on the base of the pedestal which produces a slight wobble. No monogram.

Aesthetic style coin silver octagonal bowl by William Forbes for the famous firm of Ball, Tomkins and Black, New York. Circa 1845. This bowl was probably originally part of a tea and coffee service. It weighs a substantial 12.92 troy ounces and measures 3.5 inches ht. x 5.75 inches diameter. It is beautifully engraved with chinoiserie decoration, using stylized Chinese pagodas and scrolling foliage. One panel is engraved with the family monogram 'MEW.' Excellent condition.

A Russian silver mug engraved with two town scenes by Moscow silversmith M. Dimitriyev (1854-1877), dated 1869, assayer Viktor Savinkov. Excellent condition with gilded interior. Size: 3 3/4 inches ht. x 2 5/8 inches diameter. Silver standard: 84 zolotniks (.875 pure silver).

Chinese export porcelain plates decorated for the English market. Qianlong period. 18th century. The wavy edged rim is bordered with garlands of summer flowers, surrounding a central reserve with a hand-painted floral bouquet, all trimmed with fine bands of gilding. The body of the porcelain is thinly potted and the white glaze ground is distinctly tinged with blue, with an unglazed foot ring...

William III/ Queen Anne Britannia silver dognose spoon, London, marked only with maker's mark of Francis Archbold. Circa 1700. Rare early spoon showing the transition of styles from the trefid to dognose. The dognose form is so called because of the shape of the end of the handle, also sometimes referred to as 'wavy end.' This example retains the broad, shallow bowl and ribbed rat tail of the earlier trefid form but without the characteristic notches in the terminal of the trefid...

A grouping of Imari pattern Ironstone china by G.L. Ashworth Bros. English. Circa 1862-1891. Included are six dinner plates (10 in.), two soup plates (10 in.), and a large 19 in. oval serving platter. These total 9 pieces. The decoration is hand colored, and the two soup plates have a different coloring to the central design than the other pieces. The platter measures 15 in. x 19 in.

An English Victorian claret jug in cut crystal mounted with a sterling silver handle and spout with hinged cover. Fully hallmarked on the silver neck for Birmingham, 1892, by Vale Brothers & Sermon. Size: 8.5" ht. x 5.5" x 4.5". Condition: No chips, cracks, dents, or repairs. Crystal is clear apart from some slight cloudiness on the very bottom of the jug (which might be removed with soaking).

Rare Gorham Arts & Crafts sterling silver sauce gravy ladle in a hammered surface and with mixed metals design on the handle of two cherries, leaf and twig in bronze, and with a second leaf in gilded silver. Circa 1885. Excellent condition. Marks: stamped with the Gorham logo (lion, anchor, G) "sterling & other metals", and with the name of the retailer George H. Ford. Size: 6" length.

Tiffany and Co. sterling silver pierced sugar sifter spoon in strawberry vine pattern. Circa 1891-1902. Manufactured during the directorship of Charles Tiffany and stamped on the base of the handle. Size: This is the large size version measuring 5 3/8 inches in length. Monogrammed inside the pierced bowl. 1.36 troy ounces. Excellent condition. Would also serve nicely as a tea strainer because of the fine piercing.

Tiffany & Co. English King large sugar sifter ladle, sterling silver with gilded, pierced bowl. Patented 1885. Size: 7" length. Excellent condition, retaining most of the original gilding of the bowl. No monogram, no damage or repairs. Crisp design. Circa 1885-1891 (Edward Moore's directorship of the company).
