Figural cow creamer, 800 silver, German, late 19th century. This heavy silver creamer is fashioned in the form of a cow with horns and with a curled tail that serves as the handle. A hinged cover adorned with a fly on the cow's back is used to fill the creamer, and the cream is poured from the cow's mouth. A Victorian walking stick with an exotic wood shaft fitted with a carved ivory handle modeled in the form of a fist clenching a ball. A fine touch of added quality is the carved snake bracelet with inlaid eyes which wraps around the hand, typical of jewelry worn in the Victorian age. An extra band of ivory is added as the collar and there is an ivory tip. The fineness of the carving is apparent in the detailed depiction of the fingernails. Excellent condition. Pair English George III knife boxes in Hepplewhite style. Circa 1800. Each box veneered in figured mahogany with boxwood stringing and serpentine shaped fronts. The sloping hinged lids are adorned with marquetry ovals depicting a dove on an olive branch on a hardwood ground. George III sterling silver oval cake basket with swing handle, London, 1800-1801, by famous silversmiths Robert & David Hennell. This basket is supported on an oval pedestal foot and has reeded decoration on the rims and handle, as well as a band of floral engraving. It is hallmarked with a full set of marks on the inside of the rim and with the lion passant and maker's stamps only on the handle. Excellent condition, no monogram, or repairs. Georgian Old Sheffield plate silver chamberstick with original bobeche and snuffer. Silver fused to copper. Late 18th or early 19th century. Size: 5.75" diameter x 4" ht. Very good condition with no rosing. Date of 1715 is engraved inside the candle nozzle. This date is too early to be a date of manufacture, so was either added at a later date or commemorates an earlier date, such as a birth date.

Coin silver table spoon by Frederick Marquand in the fiddle and thread pattern. Circa 1820s. Frederick Marquand worked in Savannah, Georgia and in New York City. From 1820-1826 he worked in Savannah and then relocated to NYC . It is likely that this spoon was manufactured during his time in Savannah. Size: 8 3/4 inches length. 2.85 troy ounces. Engraved on handle with script initial 'F.' Excellent condition with no dings or wear to the bowl. Hallmarks are crisp and legible.

English George IV sterling silver wine jug, London, 1829, by silversmith Benjamin Preston. Size: 9 3/8 in. ht. x 7 1/2" x 5 in. 23.3 Troy ounces. An attractive and substantial hot water or wine jug, adorned with applied acanthus leaf motifs and repousse work. and supported on three scrolled feet. Engraved with family monogram in a cartouche, and with later presentation from 1928 on base. Nice condition but with a single push in on the underside where one foot attaches.
