Long Point, Provincetown, Massachusetts by Arthur Cohen (1928-2012), oil on canvas laid down on board. Size: 12 inches x 14 inches. Original artist's framing. Signed in lower right and titled and signed on the reverse. Circa 1970-80s. Excellent condition. Arthur Cohen resided in New York City, but spent his summers painting on Cape Cod, in the community of Provincetown. He became famous for his painted tonalist works where water, land and sky blended together in muted tones and colors. Some of his favorite subjects were Macmillan Pier and Long Point.
