Antique finely inlaid micro mosaic plaque with cocker spaniel. Mid 19th century. No cracks. A very early Roman micro mosaic plaque of a spaniel fashioned from miniature colored glass tesserae set in beveled black onyx glass, in subtle colors of green, brown and white finely fitted to create a most realistic depiction. Originally made to be set as a brooch but never mounted. Size: 1 1/4 inches x 1 5/8 inches.

New England Hepplewhite period one-drawer stand in strong tiger maple. Circa 1790-1800. Solid tiger maple with single board top, old eagle brass pulls, delicately tapered square legs. Size: 26 inches ht. x 19 1/2 inches wide x 17 1/2 inches wide. Refinished condition.

New England early blanket chest retaining its original faux flame mahogany paint decorated surface. Pine construction. Early 19th century. Lift-top storage compartment above two dovetailed drawers with original brass pulls supported on high French feet. Offered in as-found estate condition, with some light scratches to the paint. Excellent condition, with slight mis-shaping to the bowl. Engraved around the rim - E. HOUET. Stamped with French silver standard marks on the bowl and handle.

An antique Ethan Allen full bodied running horse weather vane in copper with flowing mane and tail, and an iron head. Great patina and condition. A single bullet hole to one side that does not penetrate through to the other side. Circa 1870. Dimensions: 30 inches long x 18 inches ht.

New England Queen Anne period maple highboy. 18th century. Size: 40.5 inches wide x 21 inches deep x 68 inches high. A two-part flat top highboy in solid maple with some tiger to the end panels. The upper chest has 5 graduated drawers, and the base displays a single drawer above 3 drawers, with the central drawer carved with a fan. The case is supported on cabriole legs with pad feet. The apron of the base is ornamented with a complex carved scroll design. Brasses are old replacements...

Antique dinner gong on stand. Circa 1920s. Size: 20 inches Lg. x 21 inches ht. x 12 3/8 inches deep. Found in Wiscasset, Maine. A xylophone style five tone dinner gong affixed to a wooden stand.

American figural cow weathervane, probably Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts. Circa 1880-1890. Size: 26.5 inches length x 16 inches height. A full copper body and cast zinc head of classic form with wonderfully delineated lines. Gilt over original gilt surface, with some verdigris. Overall excellent condition; no restoration to the body. Cushing and White made these models with or without udders. Provenance: private collection, Chatham, New York.

Antique Classically designed gilt over mantel mirror with three beveled glass panels flanked by columns with finely detailed Corinthian capitals and featuring a frieze depicting lions pulling a chariot with a victorious armored warrior. The mirror is trimmed with twenty-one gilt balls. 19th century. Size: 54 inches length x 35.25 inches height x 5 inches depth. Condition: very good with a few chips and cracks to the gilt gesso and with some seam separation in the top molding...

Carved bone and ebony Civil War era dominoes. Mid 19th century. This complete set is comprised of 28 tiles carved from bone, laminated onto ebony, secured with brass pins. They are offered in their original wooden case with sliding cover. Box measures: 6.75" x 2.25" x 2.4". Condition is very good, but exhibiting some signs of wear and minor chipping to some tiles. All in all a great early game.

Early parlor Kaleidoscope manufactured by Charles G. Bush, Providence, Rhode Island. Circa 1873. Size: 13.5 inches height x 10 inches length x 6 inches base diameter. Excellent original condition and fully operational. Charles Bush is credited with the design for the first parlor kaleidoscope in America and was granted two patents in 1873 and 1874. He manufactured these instruments in Providence, RI and Claremont, NH...
