Bernard Corey (American, 1914-2000) landscape painting of hills in late autumn. Oil on masonite. Size: 8.75 inches x 12 inches. Excellent condition and offered in a contemporary gilt wood frame. Signed. Bernard Corey was born in South Grafton, Massachusetts and is recognized as one of New England's premier landscape painters. He was a member of the Rockport Art Association, the Salmagundi Club, the Gild of Boston Artists and the North Shore Art Association.

Alice Haigh Dixon (American, 1876-1956) - View looking toward Big Sur, California. Oil on canvas. Size: 18 inches x 22 inches. Signed in lower right. An attractive scene of flowers along the California coastline by this San Francisco and Healdsburg painter. Offered in a gilded modern plein air frame. Minor paint loss to a small area just left of the signature.

Landscape painting of a Vermont village in winter by Robert Shaw Wesson (American, 1902-1967), oil on canvas board, signed lower right. Circa 1950s. Original artist's frame. Size: 18" x 24". Robert Shaw Wesson was born in Worcester, MA, and studied under Jay Hall Connaway. He is best known for his winter landscapes of New England. This is a particularly pleasing example of his art and is undoubtedly of a Vermont village.
