Mt. Washington Glass Works Crown Milano glass cracker biscuit jar of ribbed, melon form in a satin finish with a buff color shading to orange and with hand painted oak leaf decoration. The collar, swing handle and cover are of pewter. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks to the glass and the decoration is crisp. The cover is Mt. Washington and is stamped "MW 537," however, there is some play in its fitting, and it may be a marriage from another jar...

A large country hutch table with round 56 inches diameter pine top, that hinges upright on an oak chair base with seat and turned legs. Age: 19th century. Table top height - 29 3/4 inches. Pegged construction with removable top secured by wooden dowels. It is rare to find one of these chair tables with such a large diameter and with no restrictive stretcher base; great overhang. Will seat 6-8 people with comfort. Excellent condition.

New England early blanket chest retaining its original faux flame mahogany paint decorated surface. Pine construction. Early 19th century. Lift-top storage compartment above two dovetailed drawers with original brass pulls supported on high French feet. Offered in as-found estate condition, with some light scratches to the paint. Original hinges and locks. Desirable size: 39 5/8 inches length x 19 1/2 inches depth x 36 3/4 inches height.

A matching pair of Shaker #3 rockers from the Mount Lebanon, NY community. 19th century. Each chair bears a '3' branded on the upper back slat, and one chair displays a Mt. Lebanon manufacturer's stamp on the third back slat. Excellent condition, retaining an old pecan colored finish and with woven beige and blue cloth tape seats. There is a minor split to one leg where it joins with the runner (but still structurally sound). Dimensions: 34" ht. x 19 3/8" width x 25" depth.

West Rutland Valley, Vermont by James Hope (American, 1818-1892). Oil on canvas, 30” x 40”, signed and dated 1860 lower left. James Hope was a noted portrait, landscape and historical genre painter who was active in Rutland County, Vermont and later in Watkins Glen, New York. His work shows the strong influences of his friend and fellow painter, Frederick Church. This painting most probably depicts a valley in West Rutland or possibly Killington area. James Hope was born in Scotland ...
