A Renaissance Revival library table in walnut with wonderful carved and pierced acanthus leaf decoration to either end support. The medial stretcher supports three beautifully proportioned turned and carved balusters, and a gadrooned frieze reveals two real and two faux drawers with oak interior, again with acanthus decorated wooden pulls. At either end of the table is a pull-out leaf which adds extra length when needed. The top is finished in book matched walnut veneer. Victorian era, probably of English origin. This table will add grace and style to any library or dining room setting. Offered in the original finish, with some light water staining and fading to the wood at one end. Size: 66" length x 35" depth x 29.75" ht.
