"Femme Fatale" bronze figure by Romaine De Tirtoff Conte Erte (Russian/French, 1892-1990), signed limited edition No. 145/375, produced in 1987. This bronze sculpture is fashioned with a four color bronze patination and rests on a lozenge shaped, stepped black marble base. Excellent condition. $15,000 high retail book value. Dimensions: 20.5" high x 7" wide x 9.5" deep. Erte was originally known for his costume designs for the theater and opera, but later turned his talents to limited edition bronze sculptures.
