Signed, dated and titled on base plinth. Jack Dowd is a Sarasota, Florida based sculptor who is known for his life-size figural representations of personalities and satirical characters, carved from wood or cast in resin or cement. This sculpture is of 'Hawes' from his butler series, cast in a small edition of 123 in 1988.
