Aesthetic style coin silver octagonal bowl by William Forbes for the famous firm of Ball, Tomkins and Black, New York. Circa 1845. This bowl was probably originally part of a tea and coffee service. It weighs a substantial 12.92 troy ounces and measures 3.5 inches ht. x 5.75 inches diameter. It is beautifully engraved with chinoiserie decoration, using stylized Chinese pagodas and scrolling foliage. One panel is engraved with the family monogram 'MEW.' Excellent condition.

Figural cow creamer, 800 silver, German, late 19th century. This heavy silver creamer is fashioned in the form of a cow with horns and with a curled tail that serves as the handle. A hinged cover adorned with a fly on the cow's back is used to fill the creamer, and the cream is poured from the cow's mouth. Double ended Victorian scent bottle of faceted ruby colored glass with gold filled, foliate engraved metal end caps. The bottle is divided at the midpoint to form two separate scent vials. One end has a cap that opens with a button and hinge, while the other has a screw cap of similar appearance. Engraved initial 'B' on caps. Circa 1880s. Unmarked, but probably English. No internal stopper. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks or dents (one cap fitting is slightly loose)...

Large English Victorian sarcophagus form tea caddy, fashioned of rosewood veneers with mother-of-pearl floral inlay to cover and front, resting on compressed ball feet. Two lidded interior tea storage compartments with traces of original tinning, but missing the original glass mixing bowl. Mid 19th century. Very nice condition, with some minor chipping at corners, tight crack on back, and with some inlay missing on cover and escutcheon. Size: 12 3/8" long x 6 1/4" deep x 7 1/2" high.
