Antique Chippendale commode potty chest/chair. Mahogany and pine. An attractive diminutive sized chest which folds up into a chair with potty cut out seat. Though mainly of 18th century origin, this chest has experienced many alterations and repairs, including a 20th century plywood potty covering. Other portions of the interior shelving and base have been reworked, also in the 20th century. The brass bail front pulls are original, but the side carrying handles are later additions...

An English solid oak Arts and Crafts era hanging wall shelf, plate display rack. Late 19th century. Size: 42 in. length x 31 in. ht. Attractive scalloped top molding, above two shelves.

Rare three-legged turned chair. English. Circa 1610-1650. The three-legged version is the earliest form of turned chair, sometimes referred to as a "Turner's chair." All of the parts are turned on a lathe, except for the seat which is let into the supporting seat rails. These chairs first appeared in England and the Continent in the 16th century and continued to be in fashion until about 1660...

An early Windsor diminutive size bench or settee. Circa 1810. Size: 40 in. length x 31.5 in. ht. x 20 in. deep. A rare size and with fine faux bamboo turned spindles to back and arms, and with a single board pine plank seat.

An attractive small-size early Queen Anne era maple, cherry and chestnut tall chest with 6 finely graduated drawers supported on a bracket base. Brass pulls are old replacements. Mellow surface, some restoration to drawer lips.

New England antique Queen Anne/Chippendale transitional tiger maple tall chest. Circa 1760. Size: 39 inches wide x 54.5 inches ht. x 18.75 inches deep. A diminutive sized early American tall chest with two drawers over 5 graduated drawers, retaining the original Queen Anne brass pulls, and supported on a bracket base with scrolled profile. Excellent condition.

Early American Chippendale tall chest, Pennsylvania origin. Circa 1760-1780. Size: 64 1/2 inches ht. x 45 3/8 inches wide x 23 1/2 inches deep. Figured walnut. This chest has three horizontally positioned top drawers above five finely graduated drawers, flanked with fluted quarter columns, and supported on ogee form bracket feet. Older replaced oval brass bail pulls. Excellent antique condition.

New England Hepplewhite bow front chest, with birds-eye maple drawer fronts and cherry top and case; supported on high French feet. Circa 1800-1815. Size: 39 inches wide x 21 inches deep x 37 inches high. Original brasses.

An attractive American Chippendale period slant front desk in yellow birch, with pine secondary wood. Circa 1775-1790. Size: 39.25 inches wide x 19.75 inches deep x 40.5 inches ht. The desk has four graduated drawers with molded lips, supported on an ogee bracket base. The fitted interior features a combination of pigeon holes and drawers arranged around a central prospect door, which conceals a hidden drawer. Probably of a New England origin. Retaining the original brass bail handles...

A most unusual piece of Dartmouth College memorabilia from the Class of 1948. This double sided mahogany book stand was a gift to Dartmouth College library from the Class of 1948; sold together with a paperback "Dartmouth College" booklet.

A Continental lowboy in walnut and walnut veneers. 18th century. Size: 32 3/8 inches wide X 21 1/2 inches deep X 30 inches high. Walnut veneered and cross banded top with line inlay above a long and two short drawers with a boldly scalloped apron and supported by cabriole legs with raised carved shells on the knees and with ball and claw feet. Brasses are later replacements.

Early American Chippendale period slant lid desk in maple. New England origin. Late 18th century. Size: 38 inches wide x 18 inches deep x 43 inches height. Writing surface - 31 inches ht. An attractive maple desk with some tiger graining to the slant front. Dovetailed construction visible on top corner joints; high French feet; four graduated drawers with replaced Chippendale style brasses. The interior reveals a combination of five pigeon holes and seven drawers.

Ornate large Georgian style Chinese rococo gilt wood pier mirror with three beveled glass mirror panels, adorned with carved shells, floral garlands and ho ho birds. Age: late 19th/early 20th century. Size: 7 feet ht. x 5' feet 10.5 inches wide. Condition: some minor loss at edges of frame and to birds' wings. Some cloudiness to mirror.

Very ornate Chinese Chippendale style gilt wood pier mirror with Chinamen figures holding parasols and pagoda shaped finials. Size: 69 inches ht. x 65 inches width. Early 20th century. If you want an elaborate large mirror that makes a statement, then this is it. Excellent condition.

Concert 8 Model upright piano by C. Bechstein, Berlin, Germany. Serial No. 187433. Beautiful rosewood, with burl. Dimensions: 131 cms. ht. x 154 cms. width x 62 cms. depth. Purchased in 2002 (manufactured in 2000). Condition: wonderful playing condition, with a beautiful tone; chip to the block beneath the lowest E key of the keyboard (see photos), and some minor blemishes on the left end. This piano is an excellent value, priced at a fraction of the new retail price which approaches $30,000...

A very scare smoker's table/stand from the Black Forest region of Germany. Circa 1890-1900. Carved from Linden wood. The pedestal is in the form of a tree trunk supported on three branches, on which a large bear is climbing. This bear is realistically modeled, with glass eyes, and has a hinged head that reveals a cigar humidor inside. The quatrefoil shaped top has a border of carved and pierced branches and supports three more smaller bears...

Oak Arts and Crafts settle. Circa 1910. Size: 76.5 inches length x 30.5 inches depth x 34.5 inches ht. This settle was inspired by Gustav Stickley's Model 210, but is slightly shorter and shallower. Offered in its original condition, with new green velour cushions.
