Victorian diminutive size secretary bookcase in walnut and burl walnut. Circa 1860-70s. Size: 83.5 inches ht. x 37 inches width x 20 inches depth. Excellent original finish and condition; found in a home in Northfield, Vermont. The lower section has a cylinder roll-top with burl panel, revealing a pull-out writing surface and cubby holes, above 5 drawers and a cupboard. The upper section has two glazed doors and adjustable shelves.

Vermont Victorian oak fireplace mantelpiece and overmantel. Circa 1880-1900. Size: 60 inches width x 90 5/8 inches height x 12 inches depth. This ornate fireplace with mirror back was removed from a Victorian residence in Rutland, Vermont. It is entirely original and includes the mantelpiece with carved floral corner spandrels and transom, which features a 36 inches height x 41 inches fireplace opening...

English early Victorian two-drawer work/sewing stand with veneered lift-top in figured burr walnut, above two drawers. Circa 1830s. The upper drawer pulls out to reveal a fitted working interior with sliding trays, divided compartments and a flip over built-in pin cushion, also in burr walnut. The carved and turned legs are in solid walnut and are supported by a medial stretcher...

Two very decorative tole painted English tea canisters or caddies decorated in the Japanese taste painted with gilded Geisha girl figures and inlaid in mother-of-pearl. Circa 1860. Some loss to inlay. Size: 20 inches ht. x 12 inches x 12 inches.

Sylvester Phelps Hodgdon (American, 1830-1906) painting "Summer Afternoon, Waverley, Mass." Dated 1878. Oil on canvas. Painting size: 15 inches x 25 inches. Signed and dated lower right 1878. Offered in its original giltwood frame. Inscribed in pencil on the reverse of the stretcher "Summer Afternoon, Waverly, Mass., S.P. Hodgdon, 1877." Very good condition. S.P. Hodgdon was a Massachusetts portrait and landscape painter and lithographer...

Arts and Crafts round lamp table by Stickley Brothers, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Circa 1910. Quaint Furniture metal tag on underside of top. Original dark brown finish to base with cross stretchers and through tenons; top has been refinished, with one small old nick at edge of top. Size: 36 inches diameter x 30 inches height.

Matched set of six Hitchcock style dining room side chairs in an original green painted surface with bright floral painting. Circa 1830-40s. Dimensions: 32 inches H x 19 inches W x 18.5 inches D. Seat height: 17.5 inches. Structurally sound, with repairs to two of the upper crest rails, and with a sliver missing from one front turned leg. Great color and boldly decorated with bright floral sprays.

A Renaissance Revival library table in walnut with wonderful carved and pierced acanthus leaf decoration to either end support. The medial stretcher supports three beautifully proportioned turned and carved balusters, and a gadrooned frieze reveals two real and two faux drawers with oak interior, again with acanthus decorated wooden pulls. At either end of the table is a pull-out leaf which adds extra length when needed. The top is finished in book matched walnut veneer...

Pair of carved sand colored marble garden pedestals with jardiniere finials. Vintage. Size: 57 inches ht. x 16 inches diameter. These impressive garden accessories are carved with decorative bands of trailing grape vines, acanthus leaves and roses. They are constructed in two sections and may de displayed together as a column with planter finial or separately as pedestal display columns and planter jardinieres. A pair of antique walnut screened entrance doors with arched top. Circa 1840-1860. From a home in Bedford, Massachusetts. Complete with glass door knob and hardware. Screens are steel and are magnetized so would be great if used as an architectural display item. Size: 96" ht. x 20" wide (each door). Includes custom made iron brackets for wall display as folk art. Excellent condition.
