A Chinese Export porcelain soup plate made for the English market. Chia Ch'ing, c.1800. This plate is decorated with a double banded underglaze blue border with spearheads and diapers, and with a central family armorial, painted in polychrome enamels, of the arms of Thomas Snodgrass, who was in the service of the East India Company, of Madras and Blackheath in Kent. He was granted these arms in 1799...

A Chinese export rose medallion porcelain vase of baluster form with four applied gilded lizard handles. Circa 1840-50s. The vase is decorated in polychrome enamels with two panels of courtesans with gilding in their hair and with two of butterflies and roses in a vase. Size: 10 inches height x 4.5 inches diameter. Condition: One of the lizard handles is missing a front leg and there is some minor wear to gilding on top rim (See photo details).

A coin silver water pitcher or ewer of a classical design, by Baldwin Gardiner & Co. (working in New York from 1827-1847). Circa 1830. Size: 12.75 inches height. 36.5 troy ounces. A fabulous large-sized American water pitcher with a beaded, everted spout and adorned with bands of crisp acanthus decoration applied to the body and circular base. The maker's stamp, B. GARDINER NEW YORK, appears in two arched and opposing, serrated rectangles on the underside of the base...

Gilt silver and enamel bowl souvenir spoon with scene of Constantinople and with a portrait of a Femme Turc (Turkish woman) on the handle. Late 19th or early 20th century. 800 silver. Size: 5 inches length. Excellent condition.

A sculptured bronze match holder with striker modeled in the form of a fox caught in a trap. Continental origin. Mid to late 19th century. Size: 4.25 inches length x 2.25 inches height x 3 inches depth. Excellent as-found condition. The fox is standing amidst foliage by a tree stump (which serves as the match holder) with his left fore paw caught in a metal snare. His expression displays the distress caused by his predicament. The fox is cast separately and attached to the base.

Unusual silver plated kerosene oil lamp with bright cut, hand engraved decoration. Wick adjustment knob marked The Silberlight Co., London, Manufactured in Germany. 19th century. There is a heart shaped maker's stamp on the cross shaped brace on the underside of the base. Size: 7 1/8 inches height x 4.5 inches diameter. Includes an amber glass ruffled chimney. Mt. Washington Glass Works Crown Milano glass cracker biscuit jar of ribbed, melon form in a satin finish with a buff color shading to orange and with hand painted oak leaf decoration. The collar, swing handle and cover are of pewter. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks to the glass and the decoration is crisp. The cover is Mt. Washington and is stamped "MW 537," however, there is some play in its fitting, and it may be a marriage from another jar...

Plique a jour enamel and gilt sterling silver coffee spoon by Norwegian silversmith David Andersen. Circa 1924-1937. Size: 4.5 inches. This delicate spoon is fashioned in gilded sterling silver with a shaded, translucent enamel bellflower finial. It is hallmarked with the .925 sterling stamp and with an early stamp of David Andersen. Excellent condition.

Marked with the scarce gold painted Derby crossed batons and crown mark, which was reserved for high quality, commissioned porcelain at Derby...

Double ended Victorian scent bottle of faceted ruby colored glass with gold filled, foliate engraved metal end caps. The bottle is divided at the midpoint to form two separate scent vials. One end has a cap that opens with a button and hinge, while the other has a screw cap of similar appearance. Engraved initial 'B' on caps. Circa 1880s. Unmarked, but probably English. No internal stopper. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks or dents (one cap fitting is slightly loose)...

A rare and early chalk ware figure of a resting spaniel with finely molded detailing, glass eyes and the original finish. Circa 1870's to 1890's. Size: 16 inches long x 4 inches high x 11 inches deep. A few minor chips to the underside, not visible on the exterior, and minor scuffing consistent with the age.

A wonderfully ornate English sterling silver teapot, London, 1838, maker BD (possibly Benjamin Reese Dexter). Dating from the beginning of Queen Victoria's reign, this tea pot is embossed with scroll and acanthus leaf decoration on the compressed body & spout, and rests on four shell feet. The finial on the lid is in the form of a flower. All of the silver components are stamped with matching hallmarks. Size: 11.75" length x 6.75" diameter x 5.75" ht. Weight of silver: 23 troy ounces. Gilded sterling silver anointing spoon commemorating the coronation of King Edward VII, London, 1902, by Cornelius Saunders and James Shepherd. Size: 6.75 inches length. This spoon is designed after the 12th century anointing spoon of Henry II, currently in the English Royal Collection. Condition: very good and retaining most of the original gilding.

George I style sterling silver sugar caster, London, 1908, manufactured by the Gold and Silversmiths Company Ltd., of octagonal baluster form and with an intricately pierced top. Size: 6.5 inches ht. Weight - 4 troy ounces. Condition: very good, no monogram, with only a tiny ding to body (see photo detail), no wobble, stamped with a complete set of matching hallmarks on the body and on the cover and with manufacturer's full name struck on underside of base.

English partial tea service adorned in Imari decoration, unmarked but probably Coalport, with some pieces bearing the pattern number 653 painted in red. Circa 1810-1825. This service includes the following items: teapot with stand, milk jug, waste bowl, 9.5 inch plate, 6 tea cups, 2 coffee cups (one cracked), and 4 saucers. Dimensions of tea pot: 10 inches long x 5.5 inches high x 5 inches deep. Very good condition with some wear to gilding.
