Aesthetic movement Gorham sterling silver tea caddy. Circa 1888. Size: 4.5 inches ht. x 3.25 inches diameter. Weight: 5.48 Troy ounces. A fine 19th century American tea caddy in the Japanese taste with applied floral motifs. Condition: no repairs, but with a few small dings to the body. Gorham date marks for 1888.

French art glass pate-de-verre bumble bee ring dish by Almeric Walter, Nancy, circa 1920's. Designed by Henri Berge. Size: 3 7/8 inches length x 2 3/8 inches width x 1 1/8 inches height. A boat shaped frosted glass dish shading to yellow and green, adorned with a three dimensional figure of a bumble bee resting on the rim. Excellent condition. Signed: Berge SC. A. Walter/Nancy on inside of dish.

Antique hand carved wooden American eagle figure with gilded gesso finish, supported on a modern faux marble plinth. 19th century. Size: 13.75" overall height (10.25" ht. eagle alone) x 13.5" wide x 6" deep. There is minor flaking to the gilded surface and some chips at the tips of both wings.

American document box with folk art inlaid design. Mahogany. Mid 19 century. A ripple edge molding adorns all edges as well as the base of this box. The top and sides are decorated with contrasting light and dark wood inlays, including a compass point and six stars on the lid and a heart and scroll design to the front. Size: 14 3/8 inches length x 8 7/8 inches depth x 6 inches height. Condition: some loss to the ripple molding. From a Woodstock, Vermont residence.

Antique carousel horse by Armitage-Herschell Company of Tonawanda, New York. Late 19th century. This early carved jumper track horse retains almost all of its original painted surface and is in excellent original condition. Size: 59 inches length x 39 inches height x 11 inches depth. Hardly ever is a carousel horse encountered in this state of preservation and with so much of the original painted surface intact...

A pair of large-sized Italian carved wood sculptures of angels. 19th century or earlier. Each polychromed figure is made from gessoed wood and is life size. The wings are attached as separate parts, screwed onto the backs of the angels. Their backs are flattened. Each figure is bearing gilded and silvered garlands of flowers and fruits and has silvered and gilded wings and hair...

Scarce Victorian parrot nutcracker, cast iron, original painted surface, c.1880-1900. Size: 6 inches ht. x 9 inches length x 2 inches depth. Very good original condition. Lift to tail to open nut cracking jaws.

Carved bone and ebony Civil War era dominoes. Mid 19th century. This complete set is comprised of 28 tiles carved from bone, laminated onto ebony, secured with brass pins. They are offered in their original wooden case with sliding cover. Box measures: 6.75" x 2.25" x 2.4". Condition is very good, but exhibiting some signs of wear and minor chipping to some tiles. All in all a great early game.

Scarce mini Coalport cabinet cup and saucer with turquoise and red enameled jewels on a canary yellow glaze ground with gilded accents and gilded interior. Circa 1890s. Fluted shape. Size: 3.5 inches diameter saucer; 1.75 inches ht. cup. Excellent condition, no chips or lines, no wear to gilding or jewels.

American figural cow weathervane, probably Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts. Circa 1880-1890. Size: 26.5 inches length x 16 inches height. A full copper body and cast zinc head of classic form with wonderfully delineated lines. Gilt over original gilt surface, with some verdigris. Overall excellent condition; no restoration to the body. Cushing and White made these models with or without udders. Provenance: private collection, Chatham, New York.

An antique Ethan Allen full bodied running horse weather vane in copper with flowing mane and tail, and an iron head. Great patina and condition. A single bullet hole to one side that does not penetrate through to the other side. Circa 1870. Dimensions: 30 inches long x 18 inches ht.

German silver pheasant game bird table ornament, 800 silver standard. Circa 1900-1920. Size: 8.25" long x 4" high x 1.75" deep. Excellent condition. Head is removable. This is not a shaker.

French silver taste de vin (wine taster). 19th century. First French silver standard of .950. Size: 3.75 inches x 3 inches. Weight: 2.47 troy ounces. Excellent condition, with slight mis-shaping to the bowl. Engraved around the rim - E. HOUET. Stamped with French silver standard marks on the bowl and handle.

An unusual majolica pottery basket with a molded woven wicker design to the exterior, Greek key variant border, and ribbon wrapped bamboo form handle. The pink interior with some crazing to the glaze. Unmarked. Condition: Excellent with no chips, cracks, or repairs; only some crazing to the glaze. Size: 10 inches long x 5.75 inches deep x 7 inches high.

Victorian Mercury glass demijohn bottle, 19th century. This early example of Mercury glass is hand blown with a rough pontil mark on the underside and a sheared lip at the top of the narrow neck. The rectangular form is embellished with vertical ribbing. The mercury finish is in very good condition, with only a single half inch diameter area where the finish exhibits signs of oxidation. There are bubbles visible in the glass. Dimensions: 9.5" wide x 7" deep x13.25" high.

Gilded iron Sunburst wall sconce, electrified with double back light. Early 20th century. Size: 22 inches in diameter.

A large ovoid stoneware antique crock in a honey colored glaze, with painted cobalt markings at handle ends. Three-gallon capacity. Early 19th century. Size: 14 in. ht. x 11 in. diameter. Three chips to top rim.
