Luigi Lucioni (Italian/American, 1900-1988), oil on artist board, 6 inches x 9 inches, dated 1943. This small landscape painting depicts the panoramic view from the summit of Mt. Equinox, in Manchester, VT, with hazy peaks overshadowed by foreboding skies and rain falling in the distance. It is signed and dated in the lower left. Excellent condition, with only a recent, professional cleaning and offered in an antique giltwood frame.

"Vermont Valley Farm - Winter" original painting by Aldro Thompson Hibbard (American, 1886-1972), signed lower right "A.T. Hibbard", oil on board, c.1950. Size: 8" x 10" and offered in what is probably the original gilt frame and under glass. This classic and colorful Vermont winter landscape shows a view of what is probably Glebe Mountain (now Magic Mountain) in the background...

Arthur B. Wilder (1857-1959), pastel on paper, 9.5" x 11" (sight), unsigned but bearing on the reverse the Arthur Wilder estate's stamp #105 and with provenance from the estate of Wilder's granddaughter, Joan Pearsons. Condition: Very good, with some minor spotting in sky. This covered bridge was located on Route 4 at the west end of Woodstock, and was replaced by an iron bridge, which has just recently again been replaced...

Misty Harbor scene by Thomas R. Curtin (American, 1899-1978), oil on canvas, circa 1940s, 20" x 24". This canvas depicts a North shore harbor, probably Gloucester, Mass., with the focal point being a pleasure sailing craft whose sails form a shimmering reflection in the still waters of the harbor, providing a contrast both in light and tone with the surrounding commercial fishing boats and processing plant in the background...

Signed lower left and titled and dated on reverse "Twilight November, WPA 1937". Buckler was an impressionist landscape painter in New England. Born in Nova Scotia in 1869, he relocated to Massachusetts where he spent most of his life. He was influenced by Claude Monet and was a member of the Boston Art Club where he exhibited his paintings...

Theodore "Ted" Kautzky (Hungarian/American, 1896-1953) original watercolor painting of New York City skyscrapers. Dated 1935. Size: 30 inches x 22 inches. Signed lower right "Theo Kautzky 1935." Excellent condition. Ted Kautzky was an architect, watercolorist, teacher and author of books on painting techniques. Trained as an architect at the Royal University in Hungary, he emigrated to New York in 1923, where he was employed as an architect for the New York City Parks Department...

Cast iron standing horse doorstop by Hubley, #345. Circa 1930s. Unmarked. This horse retains almost all of its original dappled grey painted surface. The figure is well modelled with wonderful detailing of the anatomical features. Excellent condition, some minor wear along the top of the neck and on one side of the horse. Size: 12" length x 10.5" height.
