Georgian Old Sheffield plate silver chamberstick with original bobeche and snuffer. Silver fused to copper. Late 18th or early 19th century. Size: 5.75" diameter x 4" ht. Very good condition with no rosing. Date of 1715 is engraved inside the candle nozzle. This date is too early to be a date of manufacture, so was either added at a later date or commemorates an earlier date, such as a birth date.

George III sterling silver oval cake basket with swing handle, London, 1800-1801, by famous silversmiths Robert & David Hennell. This basket is supported on an oval pedestal foot and has reeded decoration on the rims and handle, as well as a band of floral engraving. It is hallmarked with a full set of marks on the inside of the rim and with the lion passant and maker's stamps only on the handle. Excellent condition, no monogram, or repairs. Brass open work basket hilt with original fish skin grip wrapped in copper wire, and the steel blade engraved and inlaid in gold with emblems of a coronet, a Highlander, and crossed cannons.
