A rare Channel Islands sterling silver trefid table spoon by silversmith Thomas David Mauger, of Jersey (active 1730-1796). Circa 1740. Engraved with original owner's initials "ILC" in shaded block letters on the reverse of the notched trefid handle. There is a worn ribbed rat tail to the reverse of the shallow bowl. English George I period pepper caster by important Huguenot silversmith John Chartier, London, 1723. Britannia standard (95.8% pure silver). Hallmarked to underside of base. Size: 4 1/2 inches Ht. X 2 1/4 inches diameter. Condition: dent to one side.

Early Georgian shagreen covered slant front knife box with original brass hardware and working lock. English. Circa 1740-1760. Materials: Shagreen (shark skin) over wood with brass bail handle, hinges and lock escutcheon. Including key. The hinged cover reveals the original velvet fitted interior with divisions for 24 pieces of cutlery (slots to hold 12 knives and 12 forks)...

English dognose table spoon, London, circa 1702, by Henry Greene. Britannia standard (95.84% pure silver). Length - 8 inches. Good condition, with no dents or repairs, or wear to bowl. Maker's mark is worn but can be positively identified as that of specialist spoonmaker Henry Greene; date letter rubbed and only faintly discernible (possibly 1702); lion's head erased and Britannia figure hallmarks are legible...

Rare 18th century New England sampler from Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Circa 1784. Size: 10.5 inches x 8.25 inches. An early needlework sampler made by Rhoda Symonds at age 16. Rhoda Symonds was born in Essex, Massachusetts in 1768 and moved with her family to Hillsborough, New Hampshire in either 1772 or 1773. The sampler indicates that she was aged 16 when she created it, suggesting a date in 1784...

George III sterling silver mug, London, 1765, with tapering sides and featuring an acanthus leaf capped double scroll handle and a stepped base. Marks rubbed and maker's mark indistinct. No repairs or erasures. Size: 3 3/4 inches ht. X 4 1/4 inches across handle X 3 inches diameter. Condition: minor bruising to sides.

English George III snuff box fashioned from horn and with a tortoiseshell veneer on the cover. Circa 1790-1810. The cover is also inlaid with a floral design in silver and gold. Chip to one corner of cover (see photo detail); hinge is firm and carved from the horn, with a snug fit to the lid. Size: 3" long x 1.5" deep x .75" high.

Lozenge shaped porcelain serving dish from an English dessert service, decorated with an ornate gilded scroll border and with a central hand-painted reserve of summer flowers. Unmarked. Circa 1815-1820. Size: 11" x 7.5" Condition is excellent; no chips or lines; hardly any wear to the gilding or flower painting. Possibly Spode or Coalport. George III sterling silver wine jug, London, 1809, by George Smith II (cover marked by John Robins), with urn finial, and bent fruitwood handle. Size: 11.5 in. ht. x 6.6 in. x 4.5 in. No monogram. Nice condition (cover with slight gap at spout when closed).

Enoch Wood historical Staffordshire dark blue transfer plate, Moulin sur la Marne a Charenton, from the French series. Circa 1825. Pearlware with grapevine border and with pottery's impressed WOOD mark and underglaze blue pattern name. Size: 9 1/8" diameter. Condition is very good apart from some light staining to reverse of plate.

Pair of English brass Georgian telescopic ejector candlesticks, c.1800. Size: 6.75" - 9.25" height x 3.5" x 3.5". Condition: Some tiny stress cracks to the top of the lower section of one candlestick (see photos detail). Also, one stick requires extra effort to get it to remain in the fully extended position and probably required some sort of new dampening material to keep it in place.

Early American coin silver chamberstick, probably upstate New York, Albany area. Circa: 1800-1820. This heavy chamberstick bears unidentified pseudo-hallmarks on the foot ring that are listed in J.R. McGrew's book on maker's marks as probably upstate New York. Missing the snuffer & some minor blemishes. The heavy silver nut on the base is over an iron nut, which is probably a later replacement. Size: 6" x 5 1/8" diameter x 3" ht.

English lozenge-shaped porcelain serving dish from a dessert service, embellished with a wide, elaborate gilded scroll border surrounding a central hand painted bouquet of summer flowers. Unmarked. Circa 1815-1820. Possibly Spode or Coalport. Condition: some minor wear to the gilding on the rim; no cracks or lines. Size: 10 3/4" x 7 3/8". Other pieces available from this service.

English George III era Old Sheffield silver plated meat dome cover with robust gadrooned border and removable cast acanthus leaf-form handle. The cover is adorned with a full armorial engraved into a plaque of solid sterling silver which has been let into the cover in order to prevent any underlying copper from showing through the engraved family armorial. Circa 1810-1820. Size: 14 1/2 in. length x 10 1/2 in. depth x 8 1/2 in. ht. Sterling silver fused over copper; tinned interior.

Vue d'une Ancienne Abbaye Staffordshire historical plate by Enoch Wood. Circa 1825. This pearlware plate is decorated in a dark blue transfer and is from the "French series." It has a grape vine border and bears on the back the pottery's factory impressed mark WOOD as well as the pattern name in an underglaze blue stamp. Size: 9" diameter. Condition: Very good with a couple of very small pin sized flecks to the glaze and some fine crazing.

English Victorian sterling silver large size goblet, London, 1868, by William Henry Curry, adorned with raised chased grape vine motifs. Size: 9 inches ht. Weight: 11.14 Troy ounces. No monogram. Excellent condition.

An English Victorian sterling silver presentation trophy, London, 1872, by John and Henry Lias (probably). Size: 9 5/8 inches ht. Weight: 12.5 Troy ounces. This is a 1st Place prize for "Sailing Boats Under 24 Feet, Won By The Petrel, C.H. Simmons." And on the reverse in a cartouche - "G.A.R. 1st Prize, Sept. 5, 1872." Decorated in flat chasing in the Aesthetic Movement style. Excellent condition.

Ornate antique Bohemian garnet necklace with floral gem-set links and seven graduated pendant drops mounted and backed in gold filled metal. Circa 1850-1880. Length: 19 1/2 inches. Probably from the Czech Republic. Excellent original condition with working clasp. A wonderful example of Continental antique garnet jewelry.
