An Impressionist landscape painting by Alexis Comparet (American, 1856-1906). Oil on canvas. Size: 12.5 inches x 20 inches. Signed in lower right. Dated 1891. An impressionistic landscape of a bridge over a river by the tonalist artist Alexis Comparet. Comparet studied under Benjamin Constant in Paris in 1874 and travelled widely, including New Mexico and his home state of Colorado, where he studied with Harvey Young.

A large sterling silver trophy goblet for the Victoria Hotel Wolverton Billiard Handicap. London, 1901. by Robert Pringle and Sons. Size: 11 inches ht. Weight: 15.5 Troy ounces. "Won for the first time by Mr. H.S. Dunleary, December 1901." The with subsequent winners names in Jan. and Mar. 1904. Excellent condition.

An English Victorian sterling silver presentation trophy, London, 1872, by John and Henry Lias (probably). Size: 9 5/8 inches ht. Weight: 12.5 Troy ounces. This is a 1st Place prize for "Sailing Boats Under 24 Feet, Won By The Petrel, C.H. Simmons." And on the reverse in a cartouche - "G.A.R. 1st Prize, Sept. 5, 1872." Decorated in flat chasing in the Aesthetic Movement style. Excellent condition.

A large repousse decorated sterling presentation trophy goblet - London, 1866, by Henry Holland and Company. Size: 9 7/8 inches ht. Weight: 15.5 Troy ozs. The inscription reads: Presented by the Trustees of the Pontypool Park Estate for Competition by No. 1 (or Pontypool) Company of the 2nd Monmouth Rifle Volunteer Corps. 1866. The winner's name is etched into a cartouche on the reverse side - Sgt. Robert W. Wallace, 2nd Monmouths. Excellent condition.

English George III era Old Sheffield silver plated meat dome cover with robust gadrooned border and removable cast acanthus leaf-form handle. The cover is adorned with a full armorial engraved into a plaque of solid sterling silver which has been let into the cover in order to prevent any underlying copper from showing through the engraved family armorial.
